Sleepy
This card's name is also treated as "Dark Magician Girl". If your opponent controls a Special Summoned monster, you can Normal Summon this card with no Tribute. It gains 300 ATK and DEF for each "Magician of Black Chaos" or "Dark Magician" monster in either Graveyard. Once while face-up on the field: You can activate 1 Normal Spell Card regardless of costs or conditions, and make it's effect the following; Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. So she is essentially a retrain/upgrade trying to cover up for the regular version's weaknesses nowadays. -Is Dark Magician Girl a weak monster for something that requires a Tribute? Now she has a no Tribute option. -Is her boost too mediocre? This should help a little bit more (though combined with the above it might become problematic). -Is treated as the original so you can still combine her with any support that the regular one could possibly take advantage of. -Is she really not useful for the deck outside of Sage's Stone? Now she IS Sage's Stone in monster form, potentially using up that dead Dark Magic Attack/Knight's Tittle/Eye of Timaeus/Polymerization/whatever that you had in hand waiting for the right moment. Art by me~ Thoughts?

magemeek22
Extremely, extremely, extremely blown away by this. Dark Magician Girl has always been one of the weakest links of Dark Magician decks in that, well, she can never do much of anything. The only way to get her out was by Magical Dimension or Magician's Circle, the former of which still essentially required a tribute and the latter of which was a pain in the @$$ to set up. Also, the only time I ever found the 300 ATK bonus handy was when I had 3 Dark Magician's in the Grave and had run out of options. That said, Dark Magician Girl wasn't invaluable - all because of Sage's Stone. Yes, Sage's Stone - a card that, 99% of the time, became discard fodder for Summoner Monk. Your card, however, compensates marvelously for all of these flaws. The infamous Sage's Stone, Dark Magic Attack, Thousand Knives, and all the other dead draws can actually still be useful. Plus, you're still Normal Summoning this monster, so it's not like you're going to be swarming the field. Spells are typically not as dispensible as one thinks, so this card isn't just a "summon and win" kind of a thing - you need a spell card in your hand, and you need to be willing to part with it to get your precious Dark Magician. The OCG's a tad bit off, but I can't really fix it since I'm not great at it. The artwork's amazing - excellent job with that! And the balance and utility both receive high ratings from me! Excalibur the Divine
Very good card and I love the art. The OCG is a tad off though. Last sentence "...and make it's" The it's should be its. Good job on the card
Sleepy
Must say awesome artwork, what software do you use? Thank you ^^ It's hand drawn, and those are Crayola color pencils ^^" Maybe it'll be more noticeable if you look at a bigger version =D

Extremely, extremely, extremely blown away by this. Thanks a ton =D Dark Magician is a personal favorite deck of mine. I think the issue with OCG is on the last effect. I was thinking maybe everything should just go directly from condition to effect without the need of a semi-colon. Plus a little bit of refinement with the wording, I know "following" is not really used anymore, but sometimes these things get a little tricky. Thanks again for this awesome comment~ Very good card and I love the art. The OCG is a tad off though. Last sentence "...and make it's" The it's should be its. Good job on the card IDK why I lately always mix up "it's" with "its", I didn't use to do that D= Thank you~ I'll update that in a bit =D

I can't draw half as well with prismacolor color pencils. =D how much time did you spend? I started it in the morning as I woke up yesterday and finished it at night after coming back from school, with all the daily stuff to do IRL in the middle, so I can't make an exact answer. I'd estimate around 6 hours total?.... And thank you, I've been drawing for a long time n_n
