Lonk
You know that tentative title Monolith Soft was developing? It's actually a spiritual sequel to Xenoblade. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg2PTVi7fl8

Agro
This is reminding me to actually play through Xenoblade Chronicles. They're streaming it on Nintendo's Twitch channel right now, btw.
Nicο
I'm spending more time watching than I thought I would be, and I still don't think it's interesting enough for me to buy. Definitely not a priority, at least.
Flame Dragon
The cutscenes made me think of Gundam. The game's world looks amazing. Not sure if its for me, but I know people are going to love the hell out of this.

Phantom Roxas
What's weird about this is that the Xeno games typically change their titles, like how we have Xenogears and Xenosaga. I'm curious as to why they stayed with "Xenoblade Chronicles". Maybe it's because it's on a Nintendo system? Xenogears and Xenosaga were both on PlayStation systems. My guess is that even if Iwata said that it was a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles, it still takes place in the same universe. After all, we were shown the Nopon at the end of the trailer. I'm probably going to end up being in the Psy Seeker and Galaxy Knight classes.
Yami Bakura16
I would love to play the first... you know, If it weren't FREAKIN' $74.99 - $97.
Lonk
I would love to play the first... you know, If it weren't FREAKIN' $74.99 - $97.99 But it's not. I found my copy for $49. Plus, you don't need to play the first to play the second since it is isn't connected plot-wise to the first.
Yami Bakura16
excellent, and I have found that on gamestop it is much cheaper than Amazon. (Of course like most older games I actually want it probably isn't at any GS in my area)

Though, to rephrase my question, the theme, specifically the vocals, sounds like something I've heard in some anime. Not sure if I'm just crazy though. That's cause it's being composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, that God among men who did the OSTs for Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, ALDNOAH.ZERO, and others. A lot of his themes come through. If I were to guess it would be something from Kill la Kill since that is the only one on that list I have any familiarity with (I sadly don't watch a ton of anime even though I want to). From the other stuff of his I can certainly here the similarities. Just curious what this one is connecting to.

I'd assume he's trying not to have it connect with too much else, since composers that don't switch things up don't last long. But his style is completely unmistakable, and he uses one female singer for pretty much all of his female vocal tracks, if I'm not mistaken. I meant I could tell that it was the same composer because you could feel his print on the music. Its like how the guy who did the intro the Attack on Titan also did the final boss music in Bravely Default. You can tell it was the same source even though both are clearly unique. And yea, its the female voice that is making me try to connect the theme to something else. Might need to see if I've heard any of Kill La Kill music side from Don't Lose Your Way since I don't think that is what I'm thinking of.
