Oooh, and it's only $40.  Good.  Aint no one gonna pay $60 for that s***.

I see a lot of people that have this opinion. Though I get annoyed sometimes because it feels really shallow, as if it's just because "Toad can't jump" or some stupid shit like that.

Real reason it should and likely IS less is that the game's running on the 3D world engine. That alone means that the game cost a ridiculously large amount less to make.

That's the real reason to not pick it up at $60, and good on them for making it $40, it'll sell real well.

Actually let me take that back.  I would get it for $60, I just wouldn't be happy about it.

Jumping or not is irrelevant, it just seems like it probably doesn't have the kind of content or depth, or scope, even, to warrant $60.

Also, in terms of marketability, it's far wiser to charge $40, simply because a lot of people wouldn't buy it for more, whether their reasons are justified or not.

I'll probably preorder this game. I mean, it isn't really a full-priced game, though it probably has quite a bit of length.

Also I could just have it lying around to play once in a while until I get out of the Sm4sh and ORAS hype =P

Speaking of

Captain Toad for Smash 5. Calling it.
