Rant time

So I just felt like I needed to rant, and for some reason this place came to mind.

 

My cousin has been complaining about money. Let's give some background. He's got a $20 an hour job. He hasn't had to actually work to get the money because of a BS knee problem. (Okay the issue happened but he's been fine for months now) But he still gets paid to do nothing. He lives in an apartment my grandpa owns and hasn't been good about paying rent.

He constantly asks people to borrow money and usually doesn't pay back. I'm one of the few he does because I keep on him about it.

So this is the background info. The real issue is as follows.

About a week ago his wife cut my mom's boyfriend's hair, she's not a professional, she just is decent at it. Around same time he came here randomly and, with my grandpa and his friend's help, brought a lawnmower(ours is busted) and mowed the lawn.

He wasn't asked to he just came and did it. Well for the past couple days he's been whining about how he wants money for doing it, and for that haircut.

He owes my mom's boyfriend $200 because he helped my cousin out on public service. He ignores that, He even owes me $10 and he's been avoiding me so I can't bring it up.

Now he's getting pissy about it and yelling at my mom over the phone. (She only told me after he hung up). And saying he's "Not helping no one no more" until he gets his money.

And apparently his work recently told him he has to actually...you know, come to work now. He wasn't at work today. Because he doesn't have gas money he told my mom. He's been spending all the money he's gotten from selling a bunch of stuff (He plans on moving) and borrowing on beer and MTG cards. He told my grandpa it was because he had a doctor's appointment which is a lie.

So he owes a bunch of money, yet expects to get paid for helping his aunt out without being asked and not asking for money until after.

Refuses to actually work to get money.

Spends what he gets on useless crap.

Avoids me to not have to pay me TEN DOLLARS.

And then says how HE isn't going to help anyone anymore.
