Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
WARNING: I have never actually played this game before, merely watched the show, informative videos, and read through card lists. This deck was created purely on a theory basis. I did try it out in solitaire matches for testing, but never against any actual players or decks. Deck Size (52) Magic World (Why do you have to own this?) 1 Flag Demon Doctor Beur x2 Demon Knight, Aibolos x2 Demon Realm Computer, Vassago x3 Preacher of Beauty, Gremory x4 Demon Lord, Asmodai x4 Fallen Angel, Paimon x5 (Buddy)19 (+1 Buddy) Size One Fallen Angel of Rage, Beleth x2 Great Duke, Astaroth x46 Size 2 Rebel, Belial 1 Size 3 Devil Advantage Oops! Abra Cadabra x2 Key of Solomon First Volume x2 Great Spell, Saturday Night Devil Fever x3 Magical Goodbye x4 Nice One x4 Solomon's Shield x421 Spells Gunrod Strativarius x33 Equips0 Impacts
Opponent disruption as per usual with Magic World, and beatdown with little monsters. Saturday Night Devil Fever and Astaroth take the center over Diabolical Hardcore which, while giving easy damage, does not have as much potential or versatility as the previously mentioned. Because Devil Fever has a big condition, I attempted to fill the deck with as many ways to fill the drop zone as possible without sacrificing usefulness. Vassago and Asmodai are the obvious ones here. However, I can also accomplish the same goal by filling my gauge with Key of Solomon and Beur and then dumping it by casting something. Gunrod Strat helps my low-power size 1 monsters to reach more magical numbers that can actually take stuff down, in addition to annoying the enemy with chip damage. Unfortunately costly.
Althemia
Been playing something similiar to this when BT01 came out, so I've had frequent testing with this. Immediate concerns include:- Lack of Preacher of Beauty, Gremory. You need to be able to get some serious damage going by dropping 2 Size 1s with 2+ Crit with an Asmodia to clear their center and push for a lot. I would probably drop Aibolos for it because it's stats are alright but the damage is puts on is insignificant to everything.- Beleth isn't the greatest in my opinion. I think you could just drop him for Belial since he's a double attacker for fills up ~6 72 Pillars as soon as you drop him on a double attacking 7. Not the best damage, but he can be a board wipe in the best of situations and a monster removal + 4 damage in the worst.- Disliked Strat at any number more than 2 just because dead drawing them is a major concern in a lack of advantage clan like Magic World.- I dislike Holy Moly! due to a lot of cards being able to intercept it and movers being a legitimate threat that stops it from working properly.- Diabolical Hardcore is an absolutely abysmal Impact that's just a waste of gauge imo. I would cut it from the deck entirely and play it pure because I just don't feel it's worth the investment. I would recommend putting in some form of recovery from high damage attacks and/or impacts, so I would probably play Chillax! Not going to comment on Great Duke Astaroth because I've not been able to test it properly yet. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I remember thinking that Gremory was a Wizard, but now that I re-read it, I don't see why I can't work it into the deck. Aibolos I realize is kinda wimpy, but I wanted to have something to be able to stick and center and not be entirely open to being taken down. I realize that Beleth is rather horrid in terms of stats, but I had heard that it was good for putting pressure onto the opponent, and with the abyssmal damage that Magic World monsters put out on average, I thought it might be good to at least have some way of putting up some decent damage. I figured that having 3 Strat wouldn't be as bad for me because I put cards into gauge and discard a lot in this deck, not to mention of course being able to put it into gauge manually for charge and draw. However, I never really got to test it in this deck, because I ended up not drawing it a single time in eight games. I'd have to do some real testing. I realize that Holy Moly! is very underwhelming, and I actually thought it was a Counter, but apparently not. I would need to try it out in some real games before deciding its fate. Probably will end up dropping it anyways, though. I agree about Diabolical Hardcore. I was considering dumping it entirely as well, and that's what I'll do to try and clear up some deck space. Astaroth I have heard people saying is completely broken. I haven't gotten to play him in a real match yet of course, but even in solitaire he has been proving to be rather easy to bring out and set up for some decent damage. Changes Made -1 Aibolos: -2 Zepar -1 Holy Moly -2 Diabolical Hardcore +4 Gremory +1 Belial EDIT: What do you think about Super Tough! Asmodai?
