Six Sams are AMAZING

Hey guys, so here I have my trusty six sam deck. It's kinda outdated, it's kind of based off of a deck I made way back in 2012, back when I could use gates. Strategy is kind of outdated I guess, but the amount of duels I've won with this incredible, especially against other six sam decks. Shi En has been a HUGE help, especially. I often find myself getting shut down against evolite (Or whatever it is) decks, and a couple extremely smart DW players. But, Let me know what you think!

Ehem, probably not the worst Six Sam deck I've seen around, but it has more than a few bad choices, and it definitely feels outdated.

Wall of Revealing Light, Cunning, Triple Impact, Return of the Six Samurai and the Field Spells need to go. They don't do enough. Sarcophagus feels out of place here too. Cylinder is a gimmicky card and this is a rather straightforward deck, you can play much better backrow than that.

Only 1 Kagemusha?!, it's the main way of bringing out your boss monster, play 3 always. You should also play Elder (I'd say 2 of them) and Asceticism (2 or 3) in order to make Shi-En more consistently. Squire is bad, drop it. Iffy on Shien, but you can keep 1 if you really have to.

You should play United and Smoke Signal at 3, and add Reinforcement of the Army (consistency, yo!). You can add a second Double-Edged Sword Technique or Magatama if you feel like doing it.

Shinai-Mizuho engine is ok, but I'd only play 2 of each personally. Zanji, Enishi, and Irou are all ok techs, but you're playing too many of them. Extra deck needs more Synchros: Naturia Beast and Barkion for starters, and them some other Level 5/6/7 of your choice.

Then fill the remaining space with staple S/T.

This is terrible, and I object to this thread as a whole. You are both in the wrong section and posting a badly constructed deck.

You ignore everything good that Sams have going (Naturia Beast, Ascetism, 4 Search Spells/RotAs, 3 United, etc.) in favor of... a terrible line-up. With Magic Cylinder and Wall of Revealing Light as opposed to good backrow. With spells so terrible I don't even know what they do just looking at them. With /Shien's Squire/ but only 1 Kagemusha. It shows an absolute lack of understanding of deck construction, theory, and ability to play the game.

Then you make a statement as obvious as Shi En helps.

In addition, you're claiming an archetype that has no life in it as of this time is anything less than dead. Yeah, it can do random stuff, but it's not alive by any means.

YCM may not be the pinnacle of competitive by any means, but don't post casually constructed decks while thinking you know about the deck in any way. No one cares how it does at Locals or against randoms on DN because both of those are terrible testing points.

If you wish to improve, feel free to stick around. That said, everything you've posted thus far is, for lack of a better term, ignorant. At best.

EDIT: a mod moved it so that part is stricken from the record.

*deadpan* Black, you're too unceasingly blunt with your criticisms and come off as arrogant. You're not WRONG, you just come off as a jerk. Go figure.

Why is the deck arranged like that? What's wrong with the usual trio of cliques? The Monsters, Spells, and Traps don't like mingling among each other. It can be tricky to really read what the Deck has when parts of the lineups are somewhere else entirely.

*shrug* don't care really. I cut back on it, I didn't insult them, and I welcomed them to stay if they wished to improve. And I'm not a jerk, so please refrain from such baseless pointing in the future, hm? I presented the truth; nothing more, nothing less.

I haven't played sams since I quit (some time before CBLZ) but this is probably way better than whatever was in the OP and if you still wanna run Red/Blue then you can cut the TG stuff. Dojo is probably bad but I played with Gateway so idk.
