Once per turn, during either player's turn, if a "Gusto" monster(s) is sent to the Graveyard, at the end of the Chain: you can target 1 of those monsters, then activate one of the following effects:
•Treat that monster as if it were destroyed by battle with your opponent's attacking monster and sent from the field to the Graveyard.
•Treat that monster as if it were destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent, face-up, from the field to the Graveyard.
•Treat that monster as if it were sent from the hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect.

Synergies with other Gusto cards:
  • Gusto Squirro: Now you can ensure Squirro dies to a card effect and finally start getting some Reeze's out onto the field.
  • Gusto Gulldo: Self-explanatory
  • Gusto Egul: Self-explanatory
  • Gusto Falco: Yes! Finally! Falco can be treated as having been sent from the field to the Graveyard by a card effect (honestly this card is still useless, but hey, guess you can run 1)
  • Gusto Griffin: My personal favorite: a complete, unlimited Gusto summoner. This card will work WONDERS.
  • Winda, Princess of Gusto: Self-explanatory

Limitations imposed as of now:

  • Once per turn: prevents spamming and cyclic synchro summoning (god knows that Quasar engine is a pain in the @$$)
  • Only 1 monster can be targeted: Full recoveries from dark hole, torrential, and Synchro Summons is not permitted!

Thanks so much for the compliments! Guess you guys saw the limitless synergies this has with all the Gusto tuners XD. I'll be adding a little section explaining what this card can do to a Gusto deck, but it's nice to know that people know the archetype well enough to appreciate this :3

Also, @josolche, yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I thought that I could use this card to create endless chains of Synchro's and XYZ's. I'm fixing that now.

Made all the necessary changes!

I also fixed the text so there is no ambiguity as to whether each of the listed monsters will synergize with the field spell. However, I didn't know how to put some of the stuff in proper OCG, so if anyone wants to just do an OCG cleanup, I'd appreciate it!

Also, some coolio tricks.

  • Summon Gusto Gulldo. Use Dark Hole. Wipe the field, then use Gulldo's effect to Summon a monster. Use the field spell to proc Gulldo AGAIN and get another monster out. 1-1=2???
  • You can use this card to proc effects twice on a single card, like Gulldo, Griffin, Squirro, etc. If they fulfill their condition once, you can use them again.
  • Foolish Burial???
  • Add a Lightsworn for good luck???
  • Dark World Dealings???
  • LIGHTNING VORTEX.

Would be great since it sounds as if they get their effects AND the Field makes their effects activate as its effect as well. Could see good play with Gae Dearg search on Grif, discard Grif and with field spell get 2 Gustos from the Deck etc.

Rather beautiful moving the combo variants forward, like to see that over the traditional make Sphreeze and bash. It still supports that, but is an obvious see through, such as attacking Dragonstar with Supply Unit, you know your opponent wants you to hit their face down.

Yep! You got it, it lets you proc effects on the same card twice - once normally, and once due to the field spell. And yeah, the goal was really to finally get some variety in the Gusto build, which, I think, this card brings. Any combo that discards Griffin (Gae Dearg being one of them) will let you get whatever monsters you want. You can combo Reeze with Egul for a switch and then battle combo, or you can summon pilica and another monster, plus use pilica's effect to revive a tuner. Easy high level synchro's like Stardust, plus you can start getting multiple of the other Gusto synchros instead of Sphreezing your way to (redundant) victory XD

And yeah, you bring up a point with the whole "Supply Unit and wait" thing, but like, even that winds up working to your advantage if played right. Set a Gulldo, keep your opponent from attacking, and then summon a level 3 pilica, get sphreez; then, use the effect of the field to proc Gulldo and get an Egul out onto the field and dish out hurt XD.

Honestly, so far this card has got to be one of my best and most well received! :) Gustos ftw
