Guest Star
Dueling for Originality Dark Armed Dragon. Diamond Dude Turbo. Magical Explosion. The top three cards in the Meta game. What if there was no Meta game? What if people dueled with Decks that they liked, instead of Decks that were made to win the duel quickly. There are other Decks used in the Meta game, but not many. 10 of the Top 16 Decks in the last Shonen Jump Championship were Dark Armed Dragon Decks. What if an Elemental Hero Fusion Deck was in the Top 16? Kirotaka Narumi liked to duel. He knew about the Meta game, but he didn't enjoy using Decks that weren't fun. Dark Armed Dragon was worth 200 dollars, and Kirotaka had three. He didn't want to sell the cards, because then more people would build a Dark Armed Dragon Deck. Where was the originality? Kirotaka's favorite card was Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon, and he had three Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon in his Deck. Kirotaka didn't duel in tournaments, because he didn't like dueling against Decks that weren't original. Kirotaka opened the front door of his house, and walked outside. He noticed a card on the grass. "What's this?" He walked over to the card and picked it up. The card was called Armageddon Knight. It was one of those Meta game cards. For some reason, Kirotaka thought he should put the card in his Deck. He didn't know why, because he was completely against using Meta game cards, but he thought this card was important, or would be important. He decided to take a walk. As he was walking down the street, he noticed two kids about to start a duel. Kirotaka was 14 years old, and the kids that were about to duel were 12 years old. One of the kids had brown hair, and the other kid had black hair. The kid with the brown hair was going to make the first move. Kirotaka didn't want to watch the duel, so he walked away. Dueling was a serious sport where Kirotaka lived. He lived in a place called Wind City. Kirotaka liked to duel, but he wasn't respected because of the fact that he didn't use Meta game cards in his Deck. As he was walking, a group of kids walked up to him. There were three kids, all of them were 15 years old. Kirotaka knew the kids because they went to his school. One of the kids had a duel disk. His name was Matt. One of the kids that was standing with Matt was named Max, and the other kid's name was Airos. "What do you want?" Matt decided to talk to Kirotaka. "I want to duel you." "Why?" "You don't like the Meta game, and I want to show you that the Meta game is awesome." "Alright, I will duel you." Max and Airos looked at Kirotaka. "You won't win." Kirotaka didn't care what Max said, he would win. Airos smiled. "If Matt wins the duel, then you have to build a Meta game Deck." Kirotaka looked at Airos. He wouldn't lose. "You can go first, Matt." "Alright. I summon Armageddon Knight (1400/1200). Thanks to his Special Ability, I can send 1 DARK monster from my Deck to my Graveyard. I will send Obsidian Dragon (800/2100) to the Graveyard. Now, I will set one card face-down and end my turn." "My move. I summon Red Eyes Black Chick (800/500)." "What is that weak monster going to do for you?" "I can Tribute Red Eyes Black Chick to Special Summon Red Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) from my hand!" "That card is a Normal Monster. How will you win with a Normal Monster?" "I built my Deck with cards that I want to use, not any Meta game cards. I activate the Spell Card Inferno Fire Blast!" "What does that do?" "I can inflict 2400 points of damage to your Life Points if I have a Red Eyes Black Dragon on the field." "I activate Dark Bribe. Now, Inferno Fire Blast is negated, and you get to draw 1 card from your Deck." Kirosaka didn't feel good. Armageddon Knight began to glow. Bloodrun
Very nice, some of the descriptions of the characters skipped around a bit, but the plot the storyline and the events, are going to be spectacular ^_^
Axiom_Nor
Great job, but it gets confusing in this format, try at least puting "Mat said..."or anything to keep the dialog in line.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Use the script format. It makes things easier to understand. As far as the Fan Fic goes as a whole, I think the idea's a bit weird. I mean, who cares if you have to make a deck using Meta cards? For starters, nobody said he had to use it, or it had to be good. CrabHelmet
How many Life Points do they each start with? Also, this looks suspiciously like that "meta-decks-suck-Aitsu-is-better-if-you-put-your-heart-into-it" stuff.

Guest Star
Dark Armed Destroyer Matt's Hand - 4Matt's Deck - 33Matt's Graveyard - 2 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 The wind was intense. He stood up, and walked to the door. Matt: Thanks to Dark Bribe, my Life Points are safe. Are you done? Kirotaka: Not yet. Because you negated Inferno Fire Blast, Red Eyes Black Dragon can attack. Now, Red Eyes Black Dragon, attack Armageddon Knight with Inferno Fire Blast! The fire hit Armageddon Knight, destroying it, and decreasing Matt's Life Points by 1000. Matt's Life Points - 3000Kirotaka's Life Points -4000 Matt: That's ok. Your only helping by destroying my monsters. Kirotaka knew what Matt was talking about. To summon Dark Armed Dragon, there had to be exactly three DARK monsters in the Graveyard. Matt had two DARK monsters in his Graveyard right now. If one more DARK monster was sent to Matt's Graveyard, Kirotaka wouldn't be able to win. Matt's Hand - 4Matt's Deck - 33Matt's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 Kirotaka: I end my turn. Matt: Alright, its my move. I activate the Spell Card Foolish Burial. Now, I can send one monster from my Deck to the Graveyard. I will send Snipe Hunter. This was the big moment. Three DARK monsters were in Matt's Graveyard, and there was nothing Kirotaka could do about it. Game. Max: Matt is going to win already? Airos: I think so. Matt's Hand - 4Matt's Deck - 31Matt's Graveyard - 5 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 Matt: I have exactly three DARK monsters in my Graveyard, so I will Special Summon Dark Armed Dragon (2800/1000)! Set. Kirotaka felt weird. He didn't know why, but something was wrong. This wasn't a regular duel. There was more involved. Kirotaka didn't notice the Duel Spirit watching the duel. Kirotaka: I'm not going to lose to you. Kirotaka knew that he would have to make a Meta game Deck if he lost the duel. Why was that important? He didn't have to use the Deck. He just had to build it. There was something more important going on, but what? Matt: I will activate the Special Ability of Dark Armed Dragon! I can remove from play Snipe Hunter to destroy Red Eyes Black Dragon. Dark Blast! Dark Armed Dragon fired a blast of energy at Red Eyes Black Dragon, destroying it. Matt's Hand - 3Matt's Deck - 31Matt's Graveyard - 4 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 3 Matt: Dark Armed Dragon, attack Kirotaka's Life Points directly! Dark Blast! Matt's Life Points - 3000Kirotaka's Life Points - 1200 Kirotaka fell to the ground. He felt pain from the attack, and that wasn't good. Was there something going on? The duel spirit that was watching the duel placed a card on the ground, and walked away. Matt: I will play one card face-down, and end my turn. Matt's Hand - 2Matt's Deck - 31Matt's Graveyard - 4 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka wanted to win this turn. How could he do it? His Deck didn't have any cards that would let him get a one turn kill. The wind was strong. He opened the door, and walked outside. Kirotaka: I activate the Spell Card Monster Reborn! Now, I can Special Summon one monster from either player's Graveyard. I will Special Summon Red Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) in attack mode! Matt's Hand - 2Matt's Deck - 31Matt's Graveyard - 5 Kirotaka's Hand - 4Kirotaka's Deck - 32Kirotaka's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka had to win. He felt that if he didn't win, something terrible would happen. What he didn't know is; something terrible would happen either way. Kirotaka: I activate the Spell Card Magical Stone Excavation. Now, I will discard Decoy Dragon (300/200) and Luster Dragon (1900/1600) and add Inferno Fire Blast from my Graveyard to my hand. Matt's Hand - 2Matt's Deck - 31Matt's Graveyard - 5 Kirotaka's Hand - 2Kirotaka's Deck - 32Kirotaka's Graveyard - 5 Matt: You won't win. If you activate Inferno Fire Blast, my Life Points will be decreased by 2400, and I will have 600 Life Points left. I will destroy your Red Eyes Black Dragon on my next turn, and attack you directly to win the duel. Kirotaka: You are wrong. Check this out. I activate Inferno Fire Blast! A blast of fire hit Matt, and his Life Points decreased to 600. Matt: You have one card left in your hand. If that card won't help you, then you lose this duel. Kirotaka: This card can help me! I activate the Spell Card Misfortune! Now, I can select one monster on your side of the field, and you take damage to your Life Points equal to half of that monster's original attack points. I choose Dark Armed Dragon, and you lose 1400 Life Points! I win! The card that the Duel Spirit placed on the ground began to glow, and the Armageddon Knight card that Kirotaka found began to glow. The light from the cards hit Matt, and he was destroyed. He exploded into pixels, like a monster card does when it is destroyed. Max and Airos walked away, and they didn't say anything to Kirotaka. What did this mean? Was Matt a Duel Spirit? Kirotaka saw a card on the ground, not realizing that it was the card the Duel Spirit placed on the ground, and picked it up. The card was called Imperial Monarchy. The wind stopped. "The time has come."

And no offense, but Misfortune would only be good in a 4000 LP duel.. and Dark Armed Dragon is summoned for game 99% of the time @.@
CrabHelmet
Why on earth would Matt summon Dark Armed Dragon and then not summon any other monsters when it wouldn't be game and the only target for its effect was Red-Eyes B. Dragon? Also, DAD/DDT/Explosion wouldn't be the meta decks in a 4000 LP format. Bubbleman Burn and Chain Burn would be the meta.

Also to note that your format isn't that good, use Mare's New Fan Fic Format (MNFFF, mine lol) which can be found in Duel Agents ep.10 and above. It's very good, except if you hate yellow monsters, you can use other colors instead or simply tell people to highlight. The plot doesn't seem so good, except at Ep. 2 it starts to get better. Follow my and Crab's advices, you'll have a surely better one. It's not bad, just needs some improvement,
Guest Star
Cyber "Storm" Kirotaka couldn't get the image out of his head. Matt was destroyed after the duel, and he turned into pixels. How could that happen? Kirotaka didn't know what to do. It was obvious that there was a problem, and Kirotaka was involved, but why? The Kingdom of Storm was a place that had many Duel Spirits and humans. There were strong winds in the Kingdom because of Lord Raiza's power. It was time for the Kingdom of Storm to become the strongest Kingdom. As Lord Raiza stood outside, a duelist appeared in front of him. It was Matt. All of the sudden, a light emerged from Raiza and Matt, and the two of them were fused together. Matt had an evil look, and his duel disk looked like Raiza's arm. "The time for revenge and power has arrived." Kirotaka was sitting on a bench, and he noticed Airos walking towards him. Airos and Max had walked away an hour ago after Kirotaka defeated Matt in a duel. Why was he walking towards Kirotaka now? "Kirotaka, I decided to come back and talk to you." "Why?" "You are probably wondering why Matt was destroyed after you defeated him." "I might be. What does that have to do with you?" "I know some information that could be useful to you." "Why don't you tell me?" "I will tell you if you can defeat me in a duel." "A duel? I don't want to duel right now." "That is the only way you will get the information from me." Kirotaka had no choice. He was involved in this situation now, and he was going to find out how to stop this. He would accept the duel, and he would defeat Airos. "Fine. I accept." "A smart decision." "You can go first if you want to." Airos smiled, and drew six cards from his Deck. Kirotaka didn't know that this duel could be his last duel. The last duel that he would have control in. Airos's Hand - 6Airos's Deck - 34Airos's Graveyard - 0 Kirotaka's Hand - 5Kirotaka's Deck - 35Kirotaka's Graveyard - 0 Airos: I summon Proto Cyber Dragon (1100/600). Now, I activate the Spell Card Quick Attack. This card allows Proto Cyber Dragon to attack on the first turn. Now, Proto Cyber Dragon, attack his Life Points directly with Strident Strike! Airos's Life Points - 4000Kirotaka's Life Points - 2900 Airos: I play one card face-down and end my turn. Airos's Hand - 3Airos' Deck - 34Airos's Graveyard - 1 Kirotaka's Hand - 5Kirotaka's Deck - 35Kirotaka's Graveyard - 0 Kirotaka: Its my turn! I'm going to get that information from you! I summon Sangan (1000/600). Now, I activate the Spell Card Battle Fusion, so Sangan's attack is increased by the attack of Proto Cyber Dragon's attack. Sangan (2100/600), attack Proto Cyber Dragon! Airos: I activate the Trap Card Cybernetic Hidden Technology! Now, I can tribute Proto Cyber Dragon to destroy Sangan. Kirotaka smiled, and Airos didn't know why. Airos: I wouldn't be smiling if I were you. Your monster got destroyed. Kirotaka: Sangan has an effect! When Sangan is sent from the field to the Graveyard, I can add one monster with an attack of 1500 or less from my Deck to my hand, and I choose Scripture Samurai (0/0). Airos's Hand - 3Airos's Deck - 34Airos's Graveyard - 2 Kirotaka's Hand - 5Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 Kirotaka: I will play two cards face-down. Take your turn. Airos: I summon Cyber Valley (0/0)! Now, I activate the Spell Card Machine Duplication! This card lets me Special Summon two more Cyber Valley from my Deck. Airos's Hand - 2Airos's Deck - 31Airos's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka's Hand - 3Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 Kreis didn't manage to dodge the blast. The wind swords were hitting him with no mercy. Matt had the power to control wind, and he was using it to take out Kreis. If Kreis was destroyed, there would be no way for Kirotaka to find out how to save the world. Airos: With three Cyber Valley on the field, I can win this duel. Prepare to feel the power of the Forbidden One! Forbidden One? That wasn't good.

Guest Star
Destruction of the Forbidden One! Airos's Hand - 2Airos's Deck - 31Airos's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka's Hand - 3Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 - Land of Storm - Kreis jumped out of the way. The blasts would destroy him if they continued to hit him. With Matt's assistance, Raiza had a lot of power. Kreis could possibly destroy Raiza, but that would take most of his energy. Matt fired another blast of wind at Kreis. This time, Kreis decided to fight back. He created a ball of energy in his hands, and threw it at Matt. The ball of energy collided with the blast of wind, and there was a huge explosion. Kreis didn't know what to do. He had to tell Kirotaka about the seven kingdoms, but couldn't do that if Matt destroyed him. - Wind City - The Forbidden One. Every duelist knew about the Forbidden One. The five pieces of Exodia. Any person that had the five pieces of Exodia in their hand during a duel would win the duel because of the effect of Exodia the Forbidden One. Kirotaka looked at the three Cyber Valley on his opponent's side of the field. Did Airos plan on drawing the five pieces of Exodia with three Cyber Valley? Airos: You aren't going to win this duel Kirotaka, but I will tell you some information before I continue with my move. There is a world that has seven kingdoms. There is one ruler in every kingdom. The rulers are Duel Spirits. When you found the Armageddon Knight card, you made something happen. Now, when someone loses a duel in this world, they are destroyed and sent to the kingdoms to make the ruler stronger. That is what happened to Matt, and that is what I plan to make happen to you. Kirotaka: So dueling isn't safe? You should have told me this before we started our duel. Airos: You wouldn't have agreed to duel me if I told you before our duel began. This is your last duel! Kirotaka: Finish your move. Airos: Ok. I will remove from play two Cyber Valley so that I can draw two cards from my Deck! - Wilford's house - Wilford: Did you bring my Deck? ???: Yes sir. Wilford: Good. - Land of Storm - Matt made a ball of wind in his hand. Kreis made a ball of energy in his hand. They jumped in the air, and went to attack each other. Two dark blasts were fired. One hit Kreis, and one hit Matt. He had arrived just in time. - Wind City - Airos's Hand - 4Airos's Deck - 29Airos's Graveyard - 3 Kirotaka's Hand - 3Kirotaka's Deck - 33Kirotaka's Graveyard - 2 Airos: I activate the Spell Card Allure of Darkness. Now I can draw two cards from my Deck, and remove from play one DARK monster in my hand. I will remove Dark Magician of Chaos from play. Kirotaka noticed that Airos had five cards in his hand. Airos showed all five cards to Kirotaka. Game. Set. Match?
