ÆƵ–
1. All leaderboard rules apply 2. A critique of both cards must be given with each vote. 3. Cards due within 36 hours of acceptance, votes due within 72 hours of card posting. 4. First to 3 votes wins. Card requirements: ??? Iuhno lets let you decide ??? (Degritone says a card that puts tokens on your opponents field) Card A: Lore: You can tribute 1 DARK monster with 1500 or more DEF to Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Special Summoned: Special Summon up to 4 (min.1) "Locust Tokens" (Insect-Type/DARK/Level 8/ATK 1700/DEF 1700) to your opponent's side of the field. This card gains 100 ATK for every token on the field. When a "Locust Token" is removed from the field: You can banish 2 cards from your Graveyard; destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to its level or rank x200. Card B: Lore: You can Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard by Tributing 2 LIGHT Tokens, 1 from each side of the field. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect: you can Special Summon 2 "Cosmic Dust Tokens" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 9/ATK 0/DEF 2300) to your opponent's side of the field. "Comic Dust Tokens" cannot be Tributed or used as Synchro/Xyz Material. During your Standby Phase: you can Special Summon 1 "Cosmic Dust Token" to either side of tje field. If this card would be destroyed while "Cosmic Dust Tokens" exist on either side of the field: you can destroy 1 "Cosmic Dust Token" instead. When a "Cosmic Dust Token" is destroyed by this card's effect: gain 400 Life Points.

Trebuchet MS
Card A is relatively easy to Summon, but in exchange its Tokens have no restriction on what they can be used for. Yes, this card can retaliate if your opponent Tributes or Synchros with them (and usually killing whatever they Summoned in the process), but what if your opponent gets rid of this card before they Summon? The underlying issue with Tokens in Yugioh is that you're giving your opponent invisible card advantage to work with if you don't restrict what they can be used for. Card B is a lot harder to pull off - it's not very often that both you and your opponent control LIGHT Tokens. Yes, I understand there's Ojama Trio and Victory Viper options, but that already creates a clunky combo that serves as the barrier to entry for using this card. What do we get out of this? A card that doesn't do much outside of being a vanilla beatstick that's a little stubborn to remove. Never mind the LP gain - it's too small to be significant, considering the triggering condition. And because of the card's wording, the action restrictions on its Tokens look more like a continuous effect stemming from the card rather than a lingering effect created on the token. Also, Tokens can never become Xyz Material or be used for an Xyz Summon. It's an inherent rule for Xyz Summoning. As much as it pains me to do this, I will drop a vote for Card C. I'm just not seeing anything good coming from both cards that would make me want to vote for them.
ÆƵ–
Alright that's 0-0-1 C. Thanks for the vote, gadjiltron.
Excalibur the Divine
Card A: Well made, good effect, but like Gadjiltron said, you can destroy the monster and then use the tokens to help you synchro, tribute, or for other reasons. Card B: Extremely hard to summon with the effect, as token decks are rare and they have to be light. Also, this card doesn't really help many decks out. I vote card A. Degritone
1-0-1 A/C tied. Thanks for voting, Rrrtttyyyuuuiii.
-Noel-
First off, Card B won't get my vote for sure, now it's only A or C, and since the card in question can give your opponent very huge advantage just by get rid of it to prevent the destruction, I think it's too risk to use So my vote go for Card C
Degritone
1-0-2, C is back in the lead. Hopefully this doesn't end up a card C win.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A allows you to tribute a DARK with 1500+ DEF (which isn't really difficult to do) to SS it, but summons high Level tokens to your opponent's field that can be used to Synchro (although only for Level 9+, given that a lot of monsters here either require 2 non-Tuners or are specific; there are some that can be SSed, but that's going a bit far) and Tribute/whatever needs to be done. Then it can burn your opponent when one of those tokens is removed [though with a moderate cost] Card B is situational in its summoning, as it requires your opponent to already have a LIGHT token (while Ojama Trio comes to mind for putting said Token on opponent's field; the clause on that card blocks Tributing so no use there). It does block your opponent (or you from using said Tokens), so essentially this card serves as a field clogger [and uses said Tokens to protect itself and gain Life Points]. Considering the summoning conditions, as Gadjiltron already mentioned, it's menial compared to the effort needed to bring this thing out in the first place. The note about Tokens/Xyz has already been noted, so not saying it again. While none of these two are particularly impressive, card A gets it for being more useful. Degritone
Considering there was a 72 hour period to vote since the 1st and it's the 6th right now, pretty sure this is over. I'm just too lazy to report it and Aez hasn't edited the title yet.
Darthakin
If you really need another vote; Card A seems useful, but as been said before it gives the opponent a wide set of new options, especially a synchro summoner. (after destroying theoriginal monster), which is a downside. Card B; hmm... The summoning cost is what makes me not choose this. It's a bit... Too much. Myes. 1 on each side of the field, bit far fetched. Card A shall be my vote; Final reason; Easier to summon, and more practical in the end. Darthakin
Pretty sure this ended a while ago, as said in the most recent comment: you could always vote in my 1v1 though...(shameless advertising) I know. But the title didn't say it was ended, so I decided to just post in any case.
