Squall19
Once per turn you can return 1 "Yang Zing" monster from your Graveyard to your Deck; target 1 face-up "Yang Zing" monster you control: it is treated as a Tuner monster until the End Phase. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 800 Life Points or destroy this card. Image Credit: http://ferdinandladera.deviantart.com/
magemeek22
This card is definitely well thought out. The potential for you to have a lot of new potential Synchro combos makes this card definitely worthwhile, and the Graveyard recycling helps Yang Zing's a LOT. This card really would let you do some inventive things with Yang Zing's - say, for example, synchro Summon a Level 8 monster with Suanni, Bian, and Pulao so you get the Spell and Battle immunity. It accomodates for the major weakness in Yang Zing's - only having Chiwen as the Tuner monster. You could easily get level 7 synchros now too with just Suanni and Bian. This would definitely be a fantastic addition to any Yang Zing Deck. Oh, and another thing. Rainbow Fairy Dragon would totally wreck if this were an actual card; she'd actually be useful in Yang Zing decks. That extra Special Summon and field spell search is pretty nice too. There's just a lot this card lends itself to - good job! I really don'y have much criticism to offer. I think the OCG is fine (check the last semicolon; i think you may need to change that to a colon). Plus, the artwork is fitting, along with the nice credit to the artist. The effect seems fairly balanced; however, you may want to consider adding an actual cost or maintenance fee (and no, recycling monsters, though a cost, is hardly something that actually limits this card's usage). Perhaps having to discard a card in order to use the effect? Or having to control a face-up Yang Zing monster at all times (kind of like an inverted Malefic condition)? I'm not sure if others think that a cost is necessary, so I'd probably wait for more comments. Aside from that, I really have nothing to say. Nice card! Squall19
Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it. I changed the last semi-colon to a colon and added a maintenance cost.
magemeek22
^I suppose the new maintenance cost works. I personally dislike LP costs because I find them to be insignificant in the long run, but I'd wait for someone else to say something about maintenance before making further changes! Armoire
This card really is well thought out. I love how it makes dragons like Suannis a tuner. I don't really think this needs a maintenance cost, because there are Field Spells that do nothing but benefit the player, such as The Grand Spellbook Tower, Archfiend Palabyrinth, Vampire Kingdom, The Gates of Dark World, Harpie's Hunting Ground, and even Madolche Chateau. Personally, I think the card would be more effective if you could use it on either player's turn. But the catch is: You can only Synchro Summon Wyrm monsters with that Tuner monster (or maybe Synchro Summon Wyrm monsters for the rest of the turn). I don't think it would be too overpowered. However, I feel like having the field effect only proc on your turn and having no limitation on the Synchro Summon is more favorable than having it proc on your opponent's turn AND be limited. Thing is, I see this field spell being used more to get easy level 7 and 6 synchros, so I'm not sure I'd change it as you mentioned. Like, the limitation would work in a range of spells but this one in particular, not so much
