@destiny: Wrong, the stones aren't even released yet; legally anyway.

I'll give the answer since it's going to pointless to continue.

Latios is a Choice Specs/Life Orb sweeper, so a standard 252 SPATK/252 SPD/4-6 SPDEF with Timid.

Latias runs Leftovers or Orb, her set can use the classic sweeper or a more bulky approach [Timid]. (This is from Gen 5)

---

So here's your new question.

"A Level 100 Timid Espeon (252 SPATK/31 IV/HP 245) at +6 SPATK holding a Life Orb uses Psychic on a Level 100 Impish Ho-oh at -2 SPDEF (252 SPDEF/31 IV/HP 413) holding an Assault Vest. Assuming that Espeon does not get a critical hit, what is the damage range that Espeon will inflict on Ho-oh?"

You are expected to give the estimated damage calculation; you neglected to do so last time and simply said the attack would kill.

quiver dance.

Wrong. Both Butterfree and Vivillon learn Quiver Dance by level up after the move was introduced in Generation 5.

Vivillon actually learns Hurricane by level up. Butterfree doesn't. Coupled with STAB and accuracy boost from Compound Eyes, it really turns Vivillon into one heck of a speedy sweeper once it has a couple of turns to boost with Quiver Dance.

Next question:

Normalize... is crap. Getting STAB on every attack is nice, but it also means you don't get to have type coverage at all. However, there are ways to weaponize Normalize and use it to create a living hell for your opponent in a Double Battle. How?
