Tentacruel
So this is a thing. Discuss the show and how Hodor is the rightful king.
Just Crouton
My first episode was the Red Wedding. Only watched two episodes, but it looks really good. Also, the card game seems to be popular.
Mr.Robot
The significant changes and diversion from the books in this season kinda annoying but I still love the show.
Tentacruel
The significant changes and diversion from the books in this season kinda annoying but I still love the show. I think that can be mainly attributed to the show's obsession with shock value and plot twists so they can keep people guessing.
Mr.Robot
I think that can be mainly attributed to the show's obsession with shock value and plot twists so they can keep people guessing. The only plot twist coming out of this changes was that baby ice-king origin scene. That pretty much reveal the Night's King is real where the book keep it his existence vague. Mr.Robot
s*** episode 0/10 writing angry letter to G.R.R.Martin. Episode was great. Was hoping for the battle to be longer but eh...at least Oberyn has all his line. The Grey Worm scene was pointless though.
The Amazing Avian
Oberyn easily had the best fight in the series. Shame his opponent is able to... well, do that.
Fusion X. Denver
All Inigo Montoya jokes aside, that was crazy. I actually thought Tyrion was gonna catch a break this time, but I should have known better... That was probably the most gut-wrenching scene the entire show's had so far. And that says a lot. And Sansa coming into her own and joining the "Game" was a nice change of pace for her character too.
So yeah, great episode as usual. Well, now I curious about Sansa for the following season since she've reach the end of her storyline in the books. I bet they'll ask Martin to write her scene since he already wrote 2 full episode and that one scene where he just spoils the future books. And there's a reason why even Tyrion himself afraid of The Red Viper.
Night
I think it should be a given, but for those whom are oblivious: This thread is regarding only the tv show, not the books. As far as this thread is concerned the books do not exist, any discussion to be had should only regard what's happened in the show thus far. Do not reference the books at all. It's an adaptation of a book isn't it? So why shouldn't some people talk about some scene and compared it to the book. As of right now, season 4 felt like a bad asoiaf fanfic so far. Billy Batson
Because most of us have not read the books and would prefer not to get s*** spoiled. And have you been spoiled at all? Considering that beside me, seems like Captain Flint are the only ones that read the books but as far as his comments goes none of them spoil anything. Spoiling is a different thing than talking about how this scene was just like the books or how useless the change was, bla bla bla...

Billy Batson
Just saying he's curious about what they'll do with her character because her character finished her storyline for the following next 2 books which will no doubt be combined for 2 seasons. The writers, even GRRM can write whatever they like with/to her until her they adapt her story again. If they can introduce Ramsay Snow earlier and made bunch of scenes with him, why can't they do the same with Sansa? The actress is returning. And GRRM already wrote a scene in the show where they spoiled what the books keep vague. He can do the same with Sansa as well.
