Unless the walls and floor are also made of the same material, those would be my next targets.

... and what the hell is this, Sochi?  Would you at least bother to include a working toilet?!

Yes you may have a working toilet and sink stocked with soap and T.P. and yes the walls and floor are also made of the same material as the door and the ceiling is 12 feet above the floor.

I think I could break it.

You would seriously try to break through 4 inches of stainless steel rather than play some of the best games the NES has to offer?

... well, what if you were capable of some type of teleportation, or had the ability to become intangible so that you could attempt to slip through the confines of the room?  Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Well then I guess you could hypothetically leave the room whenever you wanted. But I'm barring the use of superpowers and advanced technology for this situation.

What if I CAN leave the room?

That's the thing, you can't for one week. There is one door, it is locked, there are no windows, the walls are 4 inches thick and made of steel. There is no way out until you are let out one week later and the only thing you have to occupy your time is the NES and the 25 aforementioned games.

Why one week?

Why not?

So basically the only choice is "Play the games" or "Do nothing."

Screw expectations, I choose do nothing!

YOu mean you would rather sit there and be bored that indulge in the 8-bit wonder that is some of the best games the NES has to offer?

This looks like a miscellaneous thread now.

I mean, it COULD have been a serious thread, but some people turned it into a joke thread.

bbz, we're all taking this seriously.

We're all just confused as to how we got stuck in this room and why the time we're stuck in there is so specific.

But the very first reply isn't something you'd say if you were being serious. If you were told you could play any of those games, then obviously you have electricity.

That is true. Now that I think about it, he didn't say we could PLAY the games at first after all.

That is also true. We should be allowed to know why we're stuck in this room. I mean, do you know anyone that would go to all this trouble just to find out which games select people would play if they were in this situation? I thought so.

You're in this room to test whether or not gamers who are used to the video game standards of today would play NES games, for how long, and how many different ones. In short, it's all in the name of science.

Okay. Then I've already answered. I don't think I'd be able to finish The Legend of Zelda within in less than a week (I said I would replay Kid Icarus first), but I'd be more interested in playing that than anything else here that I haven't played. Then if I get too bored of playing the same game, I'd play Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! because I've always wanted to try it.
