Stuck in a room with an NES

What would you do if you were voluntarily stuck in a room for 1 week (no backing out once it's started you can't leave) to research how a gamer's brain reacts to playing NES games when they're used to modern gaming standards with nothing but a 90's T.V. (no cable box), a stocked fridge with 1 week's worth of food and water, a working bathroom with a sink, soap, toilet, and plenty of T.P., a queen sized bed to sleep in, fluorescent lights 12 feet above on the ceiling, as for human interaction the scientists can check up on you every few hours to ask you some questions, a clock, an NES with all of its peripherals, and the following 25 games:

Super Mario Bros.

Duck Hunt

The Legend of Zelda

Contra

Castlevania

Excitebike

Darkwing Duck

Mega Man

Donkey Kong

Duck Tales

Tetris

Spelunker

Kid Icarus

Kirby's Adventure

Kung Fu

Ninja Gaiden

Pac-Man

River City Ransom

Strider

Burger Time

Bomberman

Battletoads

Balloon Fight

Ghosts 'n Goblins

Mike Tyson's Punch Out

I think it's one of those things where the sensible thing is to not have a window.

But then it'd be really dark and don't you dare say "You have the light from the TV" because only that little light will hurt my eyes. If it's a room with only those things, no window and you can't break down the door, the proper answer is to wait for someone to let you out.

What if I included florescent lights?

Am I stuck in the room with someone else?

No, just you.

But that's too OBVIOUS how can you even think that?! And what if NO ONE COMES, HUH?! What THEN?

What if I included florescent lights?

Then I'd know there would be electricity, so,

Marathon them.
