I should report you for being mean to me.

How is Roxas being mean to you? He is making a valid point in regards to Piracy. You are just butthurt that someone actually has the right opinion on the situation. Please grow a pair as you are starting to look like an entitled Brat. Apologies for my outburst everyone but I am getting a bit sick of the situation. There is NO excuse to Pirate stuff. No "Oh its just a Demo, I will buy it later!". No "If everyone else watches or plays it then I can too!".

EDIT: If you want to call this being mean then by all means. Stop encouraging Piracy.

THIS IS MY THREAD! BOTH OF YOU OFF IT NOW!

Stop with the Huge Capital letters, it makes you look like a child. No, I will not leave until I am satisfied that I have drilled it into your skull that Piracy is not to be encouraged. Roxas, everyone? I am sorry... I stepped out of line a little here but I had to let my thoughts be heard.

I'm gonna delete this thread then.

I always watch stuff at an illegal website.

Advocating piracy like this should be a bannable offense, honestly.

I mean, I get linking an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! in the appropriate discussion thread, but saying "watch any show you want here" is just wrong.

Agreed. I swear that posting Warez is one of the big No-No's in the rules anyway. Also thanks Roxas. I was worried that I flew off the handle a bit there which is not like me at all.

I'm not!

And another thing, I started that Kill la Kill dub thread because I didn't wanna get in trouble for necrobumping again. No one has replied to the Kill la Kill thread in a month. I did that now boom! necrobump.

You are. This is like me saying "Hey everyone! Here;s a site where you can download all the DS. PSP. Wii and many other consoles you can eat! Have fun!" We cannot deny that there is places out there like that but advertsing them on a Forum? Nope.....

I'LL TALK ABOUT WHATEVER I WANT ON IT! BOTH OF YOU OFF IT NOW!

Seems like you've given yourself that kind of authority.

What makes you think that it be shut down if it was illegal? Alright, how about this? What proof do you have that it is legal? The fact that you can access it? Yeah, sorry, but that's not enough.

I am simply trying to ensure that Crystal gets the support it needs. Don't try to play the victim when you are the one who isn't properly checking if your precious website is a licensed source for Sailor Moon Crystal.

watchcartoononline is not a pirating site. If it were it would be shut down by now.

So can we please move on to more important topics of conversation, or do you want to attack me some more?

People said that Megaupload was fine. But it was shut down by the FBI. People said that Torrents would never die. lol how wrong they were..... Trust me that site will have its Karma in due time. Just like all the others that have fallen.

The Disclaimer is merely to get themselves out of any possible Lawsuit. They are still hosting Copyrighted Material. Fun fact for you. Couple of years back a person based in the UK had a website that merely Linked to copyrighted material.

He could of got 10 years of prison for his offenses even though he wasn't actually hosting said shows.

If I recall there usually is a rule that prevents linking to pirated content, talking about how to access it, and sometimes even talking about it(Although I find this third part a little too strict myself), on anime discussion sites. Don't suppose you guys can implement this rule or so?

I mean, I have nothing against piracy(I check nyaa everyday, for example), but it is a fact that you(Astro) and me both are pirating things without paying for it. I buy merchandise sometimes but that doesn't really make up for it, it's still piracy, it's still lowlife stealing. and I'm fine with that. But at least acknowledge that what you're doing is pretty much wrong, and if you encourage others to do the same and they refuse and you lose face like this, then there's only you to blame.

Posting a thread about the Kill la Kill dub is perfectly reasonable, as that is coming out soon, so now is a perfect opportunity to bring out new discussion about it.

What was not okay was using a pirated link in order to prompt that topic.

Wrong. That site will stay forever. Besides, where else will we go? Youtube?

Wait, what am I doing? Why am I even fighting with you guys. This isn't the place for that.

Plus:

A legal disclaimer. If that's not legal I don't know what is.

How many times do I have to say this? Use Hulu or Crunchyroll.

Oh, and the funny thing I noticed about that legal disclaimer? When it mentions where it gets the videos from, it just cites other illegal sites, so congratulations! This site is really just a dumping ground for illegal uploads of videos.

I did discuss this a bit with Yin a few days ago, and she agreed that we should be encouraging people away from pirating anime. I could understand pirating manga, as Crunchyroll's manga service isn't as good as it's anime service, and I cannot think of a Hulu equivalent for manga. However, since there are free and easy ways to watch anime legally, I would like to push people towards those sites.

Look, I don't want this to drag on forever. Let's just drop it here and talk about our favorite Sailor Moon episodes from way back when.

That's fine! I'm sure that the regular uploads to Hulu will encourage some discussion.
