Rodrigo
http://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/299a Well, it wasn't as good as I hoped, but it isn't as terrible as it could have been. Would have prefered a different Sword than this one.
Poc
Plenty of value in this, but im not sure if it equals the 70$ retail price. I find it weird that they give you check lands instead of fast lands without putting a shockland in the list especially since the basic land count is pretty low. There is $180 worth of cards in this deck.
Poc
180$ is pretty good value for a 70$ deck. I'm still baffled by the mana base choices for this though. City of brass in a 2 color deck? really wizards? And no fetch land (although that might be expecting too much)

Poc
Pain lands are a fine budget choice for modern decks.
Rodrigo
Pain lands are a fine budget choice for modern decks. True, but this wasn't supposed to be THAT budget. :P
Poc
Well, they're not going to give you a playset of fetches and shocks. So pain lands are the next best thing.
Gokai-Red
Be greatful that they are not Bounce Lands and Gates.... yeah we can't have Fetchs + Filters + Shocks in a Event Deck...D:
Flame Dragon
I think they could have gone with shocks. They were just reprinted so if they had any chance of getting away with that it would have been now. I think my biggest problem with the deck is that most of the cards are either from a more recent set or were reprinted in something recently. If you've been playing for the past few years you're likely to have the bulk of these cards and the price tag (which is bound to be inflated) just isn't worth it. Poc
It's a pretty weak list for b/w tokens in general. Only 5 main board hand disruption cards and no bitter blossom makes me wonder if wizards even plays modern. Normal b/w tokens will run 4 thoughseize and inquisitions main board along with tide hollow sculler, and with bittern blossom being unbanned it seems strange that they wouldn't put THE b/w token card into this deck. I think that came down to the timing. My guess is Bitter Blossom was unbanned after the deck had been finalized.
