ems97
Well here is Groudon. Make sense to put it as a dinosaur and EARTH attribute. Also I nerfed the effect on Kyogre. The effects can be used once per turn and cannot attack in the same turn when activate the effect. Rayquaza will probably be the last to go not so sure about the effect though. I will put the effect down in the comment. Tomorrow you get to see 3 Kyurems, Reshiram and Zekrom together can't wait. Image is used in wallpaperup.com 2 Level 7 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; FIRE and Plant-Type monsters gain 400 ATK. When this effect is activated, target 1 monster your opponent controls; that target loses 400 ATK.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Groudon 2 Level 7 monsters When your opponent attacks an EARTH attribute monster: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate that attack, and if you do, any battle damage is reduced to 0. Rayquaza 2 Level 8 monsters During your Battle Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this turn, it can attack your opponent directly. If your opponent activates a card effect, it is negated. When an effect is negated this way: Your opponent loses 200 Life Points. Much like Gadjiltron corrected OCG on Kyogre, I'll do the same here for the others. In addition, some CnC. Groudon is essentially a negation card for EARTH monsters (which would be a welcome addition to Decks that can afford to run it). Though keep in mind that your opponent can get around this by bluffing attacks with weaker monsters to force the exhaustion of its materials, then hit you with the stronger ones. I'd make this effect optional. Rayquaza's one is changed to be an optional effect. However, the rest of the effect needs serious work. It goes without saying that Rayquaza's effect is severely OPed (even without seeing its stats). Yes, it references Air Lock, which blocks out weather, but this essentially makes it a one-sided battle for you (and opponent); especially combined with the burn for each negation. In essence, unless your opponent kills this with a Vanilla, you can't get rid of this card. You need to nerf that effect (make it a hard OPT clause AND require a cost to negate said effect). In that way, it is more fair for your opponent and they have a chance to get rid of this. I should also mention that there are several Decks that can go into Rank 8s (Hieratic [as an option over Heliopolis], Gimmick Puppet, Galaxy [because of Neo Galaxy/107] and so on). (I'd advise you read this and adjust the effect accordingly, if you want people to have respect for your works. This may be Pop Culture, so the usual RC standards I'm generally grading your stuff on should be relaxed accordingly, but that does not serve as an excuse to have a flat-out negation effect for your opponent. Mind you, Air Lock negates BOTH sides in-game, not just your opponent.) I apologize for being harsh with the CnC today, but you need to find balance between making a card that fits the character, while at the same time, make it so it can't abuse any current cards [or in this case, negate everything your opponent does]. Trebuchet MS
Sakura has pointed out what's wrong with the cards, so I will take the next step and suggest how they can be worked better. When it comes to Pokemon, try emulating their Abilities. Groudon's Drought Ability induces sunlight, boosting the offenses of Fire moves and doing funny things with several Grass-Type Pokemon. This can translate to Groudon granting an offensive effect to attacking FIRE monsters and a utility effect for Plant-Type monsters. Yes, it doesn't affect Groudon itself, but unlike Kyogre, sunlight doesn't affect Groudon's STAB attacks. Rayquaza's Ability is Air Lock, which halts the abilities of weather. Translating that to Yugioh is particularly difficult, unless you have something among the lines of negating the effects of all other face-up cards the moment it is Summoned. This ability is slightly different from your current version because after Rayquaza's initial Summon, card effects that are activated afterwards can still resolve normally, also your own face-up cards are also negated. We're doing this to help you improve. Please read our comments and rework your cards before we end up brushing you off as "that guy who doesn't revise his cards". ems97
All right I tweaked groudon. Now, All FIRE attributes and plant type monsters gain 400 ATK points (drought). I this card gets destroyed by battle, the monster that attacked it will also be destroyed and the opponent loses half of the destroyed monster attack points (fissure).
