I'm not so sure, simplicity can be better than complexity. Anyway:

Card A:

Ordinarily, a monster by itself probably isn't going to make life gain a viable strategy unless it can be easily searched. Thankfully it's a Lonefire Blossom Target, however the cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard effect is pretty crippling. I feel that this is an attempt to prevent the card becoming abusable, but instead perhaps a "You can only use each effect of "Divine Spiritree" once per turn" I feel would be more appropriate, or some kind of universal OPT cap anyway, since once it's off the field, you probably don't have much else you can do offensively.

The effects are quite balanced, and I like that the last effect which is usually going to be the best one, requires a bit more setup, although as a result it probably won't get its effect off very much.

Card B:

This card is simple, and incorporates a burn element into gaining life. However, the once per turn clause is an issue for me again, but for different reasons in this card. This time I think more than once per turn would be ideal, as it stands it seems a bit weak. It would also benefit from being a field spell because of terraforming. By itself I don't think it would have much impact, although with a few tweaks that could change.

I'll vote for Card A, since the effects seem balanced, interesting, and is slightly more viable than B.

Card B is just a rehash of a MTG card. It didn't make a good transition into Yu-Gi-Oh!, quite frankly.

The requirement said "viable", and Card B is cute at best. Card A is amazing, quite honestly. Gaining advantage and bolstering itself, getting rid of a threat fairly or Monster Reborning if it survives a turn are all powerful and well deserved effects considering it can't be CotH or etc.

Vote for Card A.

Card B could've been better by making it Twice per turn, and maybe making it do a set amount rather than half of what is healed. Half is too little, full can be too much. A fixed 800 burn would've been acceptable, but probably still would've lose to Card A in my eyes.
