So, being a somewhat avid Hearthstone gamer I got into a discussion with a friend of mine about the possibilities of translating Yugioh cards into Hearthstone ones.    I hashed out a few cards, including the Blue Eyes and Dark Magician, but afterwards I got the idea to try and do the opposite.   My intention here, is to take cards from Hearthstone and ''translate'' them as best I can into the game of Yugioh.  Obviously, the two games are different and so, the cards won't be exactly the same but the challenge for me is to try and preserve the original card, while updating it to fit in with the Yugioh TCG.

 

I am going to start off with a single card, to see how receptive the forum is for it.  If people like it/ I can be bothered, expect to see more but I do not intend to labour away for cards that no one will really pay attention to.   Comments and criticism are welcome, but especially welcome are those who can compare these cards to their HS equivalents and tel me just how well I have translated the card.   

 

Lastly, I should mention.  I play Hearthstone a lot, but I have never played WoW so don't expect that to factor into things except as background info that I may have picked up from Hearthstone.

 

Okay, now the disclaimers are over, onto the cards!

 

I decided to start off with a well-known card, used in a lot of decks in the meta.

 

 

[spoiler/]Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Can be Special Summoned by Banishing 3 monsters with different names from your graveyard. Once each turn, during your End Phase, target a random monster your Opponent controls. If that monster's Original Attack is less than 2700, destroy it. This monster cannot attack.[/spoiler]

 

 

[spoiler/]You can Tribute Summon this card bu Tributing 1 Earth Monster. When this card is Tribute Summoned, choose and apply one of the following effects:
*Draw two cards
*Select one of your other monsters, it cannot be destroyed this turn.[/spoiler]

 

 

[spoiler/]3 Level 5 monsters.
When this card is Xyz Summoned, it gains one of the following effects:
*One per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, it can attack your opponent directly this turn.
*f this card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material instead.[/spoiler]

If this card destroys a monster by battle, look at the top three cards of your deck; if any of them is a Spell, add it to your hand.
*Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Draw a card.[/spoiler]
