I prefer Megas to both look different enough that they can be called a new form but similar enough that they don't look like they could have been a normal evolution. Its a really thin line honestly. It gets Hurricane and Heat Wave and honestly that's all it really needs. Focus Blast is the only thing that would make it perfect. Basically I'm saying that it's fine as is honestly. Flygon is one of the coolest Pokemon designs from Gen III. It's simple, yet exotic, and adorable in a weird way. And many other Mega designs are either really bizarre/ugly looking or the embodiment of awesome. That's not even going into the trouble with Ability/Type/stat revamps. As for Amaura, still breeding extras for those who requested; but last time I checked, should have 3-4 HA ones. IVs are not perfect, but they are Modest natured. (I don't have suitable parents, nor the time to breed any egg moves, so they're plain). On that note, there isn't too much egg stuff that can be realistically used. The move pool doesn't have a ton for it, but 100% accurate Hurricane is REALLY powerful and something to fear. See, my problem is I'm not a huge fan of doubles. Like I get why people like it, but so much of pokemon for me is single w/ 6 each that the official rules just don't appeal to me. We'll eventually get it someday. Getting something to use vs. Water types is always nice. Though without Refrigerate Freeze-Dry is likely the best Ice move to run. Also, it still bugs me that Rock doesn't have a catch all special move. Power Gem exists and most Rock types doesn't need it, but it just makes a special based Rock type SO much worse. Just need a bit of help bare in mind this is in game Greninja (HA) Chandelure/Volcarona (favouring the former because of Larvesta's late evolution) Dragonite/Haxorus/Noivern Torterra/Serperior HA Crobat/Arbok (Last will probably be Bibarel or Azumarill) If not Dragonite I might have to Talonflame, and given I don't want multiple of the same type I can't really go with Delphox. I'm not denying that the Smogon rulings are good and I know a lot of people prefer to battle by them, but when I'm battling with friends I like to use pokemon I enjoy to use (even if they're in Ubers like Mega Salamence for example). See, none of my friends really play that much so my breeding is more so akin to a Zen Garden for me than anything else. Pretty sure all my competitively breed pokemon can beat most casual things. I mean, I get that they have really powerful second effects, but they are so bad otherwise and using a move to hope for a 10% chance just seems miserable. From my experience, you can play while your 3Ds is being charged. But based on the time between your post and 'now', I think that it should be charged so it shouldn't matter. About Amaura, as I have stated prior, I am interested in it. Though I believe you haven't added my friend code yet (your Mii is not showing in my friend list), here it is once agian should you need it: 5472-6221-7209.
