Yemachu
Oh, anyone got any Lansat or Starf berries? I wanna make Rainbow Pokeblock+ Rainbow Pokeblock+ can also be made by mixing 'good' berries of four different colours (at least according to serebii). So you could try that. The berries harvested in the berry master's garden are of a decent level. But no, I do not own a Lansat or Starf berry. My Mega Swampert moveset will be Hydro Pump, Muddy Water, Earthquake and Ice Beam. While it is up to you how you train your Pokemon, this set does not seem fitting for Mega Swampert. If you look at its base stats, it is clear to see that (s)he is designed to be a physical attacker. Whereas 3 of the moves you have selected for him/her are 'special'. By choosing Physical alternatives (Waterfall, Ice Punch, Hammer Arm, Rock Slide, etc.), you could potentially increase the damage output by quite a bit. ~British Soul~
My Mega Swampert moveset will be Hydro Pump, Muddy Water, Earthquake and Ice Beam. So you'd rather have the 30% accuracy debuff chance with the 15% chance of Muddy Water missing over the 100% accuracy that Surf has? It's up to you though, but I'd rather have had at least one Water move that has 100% accuracy like Surf or Waterfall.
Astro Dude
What about the Eon Ticket? Come to think of it I have 13 Blue Pokeblock+. But two things. 1. When you win a contest of a particular type, you know Coolness contest for example, do you get a Cosplay Pikachu that only knows moves of that type? 2. do you still feed up to ten pokeblocks for your pokemon? I'm gonna get a Milotic that knows the most beautiful of beautiful moves. Still waiting: Best Tough pokemon: Best Cool Pokemon: Best Clever Pokemon: Actually, back in RS, My Gardevoir won contests with it's calm mind, psychic combo. Best Beautiful Pokemon: Milotic Best Cute Pokemon: I'd better get to farming more berries, and all that. But first, I shall brude due to thy fact that I shan't have a mega bracelet. Flame Dragon
Oh, anyone got any Lansat or Starf berries? I wanna make Rainbow Pokeblock+ Also, what are the best pokemon to use for contests, you know like Best Tough, Cute, Cool, Clever and Beautiful pokemon. I wanna have them immortalized in the Lilycove art museum. As for the Numel situation, I'll have to find Geodude in Granite Cave. Ground types are the only ones effective against Electric types, and I'm sure as heck not going to evolve my Mudkip until it learns Hydro Pump. That's it! My Mega Swampert moveset will be Hydro Pump, Muddy Water, Earthquake and Ice Beam. AHHHHH! I just realized I don't have the Eon ticket. And I don't know how to get it. Hydro Pump is a HORRIBLE move. Its acc is simply not worth using over Surf, especially in game where the PP is also an issue. Muddy Water is also strictly worse than Surf as said above. Waterfall is very good on him though. You get the Pikachu just for entering the first contest area and can change the dress as you see fit which changes the move. You can feed any number of blocks to a pokemon. Astro Dude
Really. Cause in RS there was a limit to how many pokeblocks a pokemon can eat. The indicator was the circle of sparkles. Once that loop was closed, that's it. No more pokeblocks to feed.
Flame Dragon
I know. It was changed with this. Its to allow Contest Pika to be able to be used in all 5.
Astro Dude
Okay, they just broke contests. Also, interesting tidbit I just found out. Apparently you don't need the Eon ticket to get the Mega Bracelet. Brooding over.
~British Soul~
Also, interesting tidbit I just found out. Apparently you don't need the Eon ticket to get the Mega Bracelet. Brooding over. Ofc you don't need the Eon ticket to get the Mega Bracelet silly. It would've been a dick move if they decided that you need an event item in order to be able to do mega evolution. Astro Dude
The Eon ticket is to get the OTHER Lati, the one you don't get in-game. Like I said, I just found that out. Also another thing I found out that I did not know for... YEARS. Apparently the male trainer in RSEORAS, he was wearing a white hat. All that time since I thought he wore a headband and had brown and white hair. Like this: The hair I mean.
Cin
That was known ages ago when the RS manga came out and revealed it. Finally got a Pokemon I can fly on, I really need to learn to get a pokemon that can fly at a lower level. I did do the senselessly trying to get through the questions in Trick House as per usually glad they kept to the 3 different questions. I am loving the Blue text for places to go to and characters teleporting you, it was so handy. That and the boat to Lilycove.
~British Soul~
Speaking of Fly, funnily enough I ditched my Flyer for a pokemon (That's actually a part of my final team) that can't fly atm, but by the time I get Fly, it will have evolved into Vibrava. The Norman fight wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, apart from Retaliate one shotting Gallade.
The Warden
I'm having a neat time designing my Secret Base. From the 40 I've visited none of them have a Pretty Desk, nor either of the Certificates for completing the Hoenn/Nat Dex. I love having a somewhat unique base. evilfusion
So...I was using the DexNav to chain for Ralts. On like the 4th encounter (of the chain), it had its Hidden Ability, at least 3 perfect IVs...and was SHINY. It used Teleport. *cries*

evilfusion
I was dumb to overlook that a Ralts might have Teleport. (Despite using a Ralts as a Synchronizer). I should have thrown an Ultra Ball, not a Luxury Ball.

Astro Dude
There there. I know how it feels, especially when I have to face trolls like wandering legendary pokemon that flee before I learned how to trap them and Abra. But a Shiny running away. In my life I have a shiny Kecleon, and I think that was about it. And that was without cheat devices. On a more positive note, made it to Mauville city last night, had my first Inverse battle and my first food court battle. Before that My Zubat evolved into Golbat and again into Crobat at level 23. Thank you Soothe bell. My Ralts evolved into Kirlia, I caught a Geodude which I nicknamed Rocky, don't question the unoriginal name, and I got three Dawn Stones. One will be for Knight Man, my male Ralts, and one for a female Snorunt I will nickname Yuki. And I could not believe how much Mauville has improved since RSE. But you all have haven't you. Challenging the Gym. Gotta get into Jolly Dan Green Character for Wattson. Team in OR for this: Rocky: My Geodude Lv. 20 Knight Man,: My lv. 15 male Ralts Lotad which I got from AS lv. 17 Tentacool lv 16 Flamecrunchr my Poochyena with Fire Fang lv. 19 (Be thankful I did not call him FlameHyenard cause everyone, and I mean EVERYONE hates him, including Quarter Guy and myself. Electrike lv. 17. Heck, I could beat Wattson with just Rocky alone, but I'll throw Knight Man in for the Battle Girl.

Astro Dude
Especially Chansey. I'd be devastated if I found a shiny Chansey and it ran off. Anywho, I just beat Wattson, in a clean sweep. How I did it: First, I used Rock Polish to raise Rocky, My Geodude's speed, then I spammed it's newly taught Bulldoze. Not even his Magneton stood a chance. Now for some backtracking. Oh got Manectrite, forgot to mention that. And you gotta like the badges. I mean now they look like real badges, complete with pin latches on the back. Cin
They do look really nice now, now I've got Fly I might make a second attempt at getting Gyarados' mega stone. That I missed the first time. Gonna get Fire Fang for Salamence if I remember with the 5 Heart Scales from the Demo.
~British Soul~
I transferred my Heart Scale set from the demo before evolving my Kirlia into Gallade. It took a while to soft reset for a timid Latios, and I had to backtrack to get the Intriguing stone as I forgot about it when I first got to Verdanturf. Cin
Finally got to Groudon, did want to face palm when the AI kept trying to use Earthquake and Precipice Blade against Gyarados, which ended up just knocking it out, so I ended up Masterballing it. (X and Y have spare ones anyway). The only criticism is the cut scene goes on forever. Just gotta catch Groudon with the rest of my 52/53 team. My HM slave is now 51... Flame Dragon
Can you have 6th gen pokemon learn a move tutor move in OR/AS and then move them back into X/Y? I know it would work for pre6th gen pokemon since they would have already been coded for it when they came from 5th gen, but I'm not sure about 6th. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I would probably assume that you can. Provided that it's not Precipice Blades, Origin Pulse, Dragon Ascent or some other ORAS-exclusive moves, should be fine. Although it's late and I can't really test that theory at the moment. What Poke did you have in mind about doing this?
