I wonder - No, I HOPE they removed all new Megas that weren't previously revealed from the Demo's code (except Hoopa's, who might not be a Mega at all probably due to a fail or lack of time) in order to prevent any hackers from finding out about them because they insist on keeping them in secret until ORAs release; same for a possible Battle Frontier.

But why would they have left in the stats for the other megas then? That seems strange to me. But, as I've said, it also seems strange that they would reveal all the Megas before the game came out. It really could go either way at this point.

People are ripping the trainer artwork from the Demos and they discovered a new trainer class.

So we'll get under water battles? Really hope its like sky battles, since having a Charizard fight under the sea seems dumb.

Also, I hope the tutors need BP since finding shards is a pain.

It looks like they used some of the Sinnoh trainer sprites and made them into updated trainer arts (i.e Guitar Guy, Rich Boy, Sailor, Picknickers/Campers, Aroma Lady, etc).

Also pretty nice to see arts such as the Breeders, Treasure Hunter, Ninja Boy, and Ace Trainers. Oene thing I've noticed is that I don't see female versions of the Triathletes. Ah well.

And Pokemaniac....he's floating pretty high.

3 things that give me hope that there might be other Mega Evos and/or Move Tutors/Egg Moves:

Dark Pulse is listed as a Move Tutor move even though it's already a TM in Gen VI (and it appears to remain that way, according to the leaks);

Sidney is the only member of the Elite Four not to use one of the new Mega, and it looks like its Signature Mon is still Absol, despite being teased to have been change to Shiftry previously;

Aarune is the only important non-Gym Leader NPC character that does not have a Mega Evolving Mon in their party.

Maybe because they predicted that someone would try to hack the demo to find out more about the games, but didn't have the time or disposition to take all that data off the game, so they opted to remove only what they deemed more worth of keeping in secret. That's what I theorize, at least.

Glad Move Tutors exist now, because X/Y didn't have certain moves available (which forced us to import stuff from White 2).

That being said, given Dark Pulse is a TM move already in Gen 6, I don't know why it's there; maybe you don't find the TM until later in game and it's there until that point.

BP might be the better way to pay for the tutor moves (I had some luck with finding shards, but only enough for the moves that I didn't really need in White 2, so yeah). That being said, need to see how easy it'll be to get said BP (Frontier might exist, or they add back the Battle Institute).

The new pokemon are great, but you know what I want?: The updated (ORAS) artwork of Winona, Tate and Liza, Wallace, Glacia and Drake.

It's going to be interesting to see how battles underwater turn out (assuming Dive is made into TM07 or whatever one is open now), especially with Mega Evolving.

But yeah, Glacia looks a lot more prim (assuming it's her second from left on top row).

Drake still looks epic like his RSE incarnation; I look forward to challenging him during Pokemon League.

(I have an idea for where my secret base should be though...)

Managed to get a hold of a demo code. Haven't had a chance to play it yet.

Jealous about Japan's Victini, Keldeo  and Shaymin event for ORAS not so jealous about the way people have to get the codes. Sounds expensive.

I'm kinda jealous as well seeing its 99.9% likely to be a JPN-only event (especially since they're mythical pokemon), but I'm sure people will clone them and distribute them on various trade pages within a few months.

[spoiler='Response to all the new Megas']

  • Index: 799 - Swampert-M Stats: 100/150/110/95/110/70 Type: Water/Ground Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

Yup. Very Swampert.

  • Index: 800 - Sceptile-M Stats: 70/110/75/145/85/145 Type: Grass/Dragon Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

Mega Sceptile's going to be an amazing mixed attacker that could basically put the kabash on Rotom Wash if it's on a team.

  • Index: 801 - Sableye-M Stats: 50/85/125/85/115/20 Type: Dark/Ghost Catchrate: 45 Stage: 2

Oh man, that looks shitty. No Prankster either? Yeesh. Defenses are nice, yeah, but low HP and dismal speed. Not really thinking it'll be all that great.

  • Index: 802 - Altaria-M Stats: 75/110/110/110/105/80 Type: Dragon/Fairy Catchrate: 45 Stage: 2

Speed's not that good, but it's really bulky and has good offensive power alongside a good typing.

  • Index: 803 - Gallade-M Stats: 68/165/95/65/115/110 Type: Psychic/Fighting Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

It's a fucking monster. A+ Shadow Sneak makes up for whatever its already good speed can't hit.

  • Index: 804 - Audino-M Stats: 103/60/126/80/126/50 Type: Normal/Fairy Catchrate: 255 Stage: 2

Looks better, defensively, than Sabeleye (at least stat-wise). Ability will make it something to look at in double battles.

  • Index: 805 - Sharpedo-M Stats: 70/140/70/110/65/105 Type: Water/Dark Catchrate: 60 Stage: 2

A speed-boosted powerful mixed attacker. Okay, you have my attention.

  • Index: 806 - Slowbro-M Stats: 95/75/180/130/80/30 Type: Water/Psychic Catchrate: 75 Stage: 2

Holy shit that's a lot of defense. Not really sure how well it'll play, though. Go after it with special attack and it won't stand up very well, though.

  • Index: 807 - Steelix-M Stats: 75/125/230/55/95/30 Type: Steel/Ground Catchrate: 25 Stage: 2

Ignore what I just said about Mega Slowbro. THAT is a lot of defense. SpD isn't half bad either. Speed is what kills it, but a Trick Room team could really make use of it.

  • Index: 808 - Pidgeot-M Stats: 83/80/80/135/80/121 Type: Normal/Flying Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

Good speed, good SpA. It's definitely going to spam Hurricane, lol.

  • Index: 809 - Glalie-M Stats: 80/120/80/120/80/100 Type: Ice/Ice Catchrate: 75 Stage: 2

Defenses are mediocre, and it just hits the threshold for speed. Attack is both good, but I don't think we'll see much of it.

  • Index: 810 - Diancie-M Stats: 50/160/110/160/110/110 Type: Rock/Fairy Catchrate: 3 Stage: 3

Yeah, that's very good. It's a legendary, so we'll see whether it's enough for ubers or not. I don't think it will be.

  • Index: 811 - Metagross-M Stats: 80/145/150/105/110/110 Type: Steel/Psychic Catchrate: 3 Stage: 3

This is very, VERY good. Fairly high speed alongside great attack power and amazing bulk. No way this doesn't get into OU.

  • Index: 812 - Kyogre-P Stats: 100/150/90/180/160/90 Type: Water/Water Catchrate: 3 Stage: 3

Ubers! YAY

  • Index: 813 - Groudon-P Stats: 100/180/160/150/90/90 Type: Ground/Fire Catchrate: 3 Stage: 3

Still Ubers.

  • Index: 814 - Rayquaza-M Stats: 105/180/100/180/100/115 Type: Dragon/Flying Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

Definitely Ubers.

  • Index: 821 - Hoopa-M Stats: 80/160/60/170/130/80 Type: Psychic/Dark Catchrate: 3 Stage: 3

Something tells me that'll be uber too.

  • Index: 822 - Camerupt-M Stats: 70/120/100/145/105/20 Type: Fire/Ground Catchrate: 150 Stage: 2

Good defenses and good offenses. Definitely could make Trick Room teams at the very least.

  • Index: 823 - Lopunny-M Stats: 65/136/94/54/96/135 Type: Normal/Fighting Catchrate: 60 Stage: 2

Defense has it right where it needs to be with that attack and speed stat. Scrappy as its ability may actually make it very good.

  • Index: 824 - Salamence-M Stats: 95/145/130/120/90/120 Type: Dragon/Flying Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

That's definitely a salamance. Mixed attacker with good Def and good speed.

  • Index: 825 - Beedrill-M Stats: 65/150/40/15/80/145 Type: Bug/Poison Catchrate: 45 Stage: 3

This will be good. Very high speed and very high attack. Complete glass cannon, though, so any priority move likely kills it.

ORAS move tutors confirmed.

Stealth Rock. Knock Off. Pwnches. Ohhhhh yeahhh.

Most of it are similar with B2W2 though.

Yes, but now you can get perfectly IV bred easily while also being able to get those move tutors. Soooooo many mons wanted that longside Knock Off.

There are like 3 different trainers there who look like the Ace Trainer and they all look really cool.

I'm digging the designs of everything.

Still need to get my team sorted, but I remember I need a HM slave for Surf, Dive (if that feature still exists), Waterfall (one will go on a water Pokemon), Wonder if Strength and Rock Smash are still required and we'll have the return to the days of Flash.

I posted twice in a row thinking the replies would merge with each other, but that sadly wasn't the case :(

But I bet that Dark Pulse Move Tutor is a placeholder for something else until they release the finished version of the game.
