Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

They weren't "showing" them, so that point doesn't make any sense.

The fact that they just ripped some of the data out and left the rest doesn't seem strange at all. Even if it's not needed to run, wouldn't it be more effort to remove anything that isn't 100% essential to remove?

Not to mention, the data for those are quite small and they might just entered it beforehand to make sure things are coded properly.

Also, the source is ProjectPokemon, the people that dissects ROMs and give us pokegen and stuffs, so I'll go believe them.

They did give info on MegaLati@s and the event mons back during XY.

Shard tutors confirmed, no details yet.

But DRACO METEOR on Sceptile. oops misread

Thats not what I'm saying. I'm curious if this list is going to be the full list of new Megas. I wouldn't think it would be since I would have expected them to have Megas that we'll only learn about when we get the game. However all the Megas we've seen up to this point + 1 we haven't having their data there makes me think it might be the full list. IMO it would be odd for them to leave some of the new Mega data in there but specifically only ones we knew about + Hoppa. Honestly, Hoppa's data being there  makes me think it is the full list.

But then why wouldn't they code in all the new Megas. Thats what I'm saying. I'm not doublting them. Just trying to figure out if we have any other new Megas coming.

Note that apparently the demo are still missing things, like, a lot of it.

Even Eon Flute's not in yet.

While it seems that a big portion of the data is in, it's apparent that it's not all of them.

So yeah, there might still be a chance for other megas.

EDIT:

Text File : 115

Following with Swampertite, there are 19 scrubbed items, presumably the other megastones. Now, thus far, 19 megas have been revealed, including the five whose megastones are in the game. Meaning there are only 14 confirmed scrubbed megastones in that list, implying up to 5 more megas to be revealed.

Quoting from the data miners. There might be hope for other megas.

British, GAME actually had no clue about the demo even running nor did they have anything on Gengar. Yet I came home and GAME's twitter confirmed both were live. So I told them on twitter I found their staff useless.

Mega Shiny Metagross just looked ugly to me.

I'll wait under release really, because although these are trust sources I like to see things for myself.

I actually didn't have any trouble geting the Shiny Gengar tbh. The issue I had was that I forgot to charge my 3DS before going up GAME, whoops.

Yeah, it's on par with Mega Scizor now.

Looks like I'm going to need to invest in Mega Beedrill now.

Berserker, you still have one of those Weedles left over?

Pidgeot is now usable; base 135 sp atk and 121 spd. Now to see what it learns to abuse the new SpAtk stat (other than Hurricanes, etc)

Somewhat disappointed in Mega Salamence/Metagross's Atk gain; should've been a little bit higher. As I said earlier, while defense buffs are nice; it's still going to die to super effective moves. I suppose this is more of a bulky attacker version. (145 atk is still enough to break things, though)

Lopunny's one is the most surprising though; base 136 atk and 135 spd (from 76 / 105).

And still waiting for confirmation on Mega Eons (unless whatever someone hacked in X/Y is true)...

So much for the Mega Eons getting a speed buff. The physical Atk raise was unneeded to be honest, since they don't even use it 99% of the time. Latias certainly doesn't use physical attack b/c her sets always run -Atk and her bro only uses it for one set, and that's only if Heatran is a problem.

Would've been a lot better if the Atk buff was moved to Speed instead (they have much better use for it; especially with the other new Megas getting a lot faster), but meh at this point. Defensive boosts are fine; they could certainly use a bit of it.

(Taking this a bit hard right now b/c both of them are Pokes I use quite often, and Gamefreak ruined both their design + stat spread; forgive me.)

As for Mega Camerupt, since someone asked earlier about it, Special is definitely the way to go here (140 sp atk v 120 atk). Speed is at 20 now, but the thing was slow to begin with. Just means it can abuse Trick Room stuff now.

Hopefully, there'll be more for us to find in the complete version, as the leakers speculate - I mean, it looks like no new Egg Move has been added to any Mon's movepool, and no moves introduced in Gen VI received a place among the ones featured in that Move Tutors' list. *crossing fingers*

Mega Lati@s aren't bad at all, they're only bad if you compare them to Soul Dew lati@s.

They pretty much are more durable Life Orb Lati@s with a bit less power but more bulk and no recoil, which is pretty huge.

Latias might miss leftovers recovery for some of its sets, but all in all, it's a nice trade. Latios's ATK might be useful for something, but haven't seen any promising calcs yet.

Not on the same level of Mega Salamence in brokenness, but really, they're pretty nice.

Only if those moves are Special Ice-Type ones; after an Intimidate, that Def boost might be enough to endure a Stone Edge an maybe even an Ice Shard.

I wonder - No, I HOPE they removed all new Megas that weren't previously revealed from the Demo's code (except Hoopa's, who might not be a Mega at all probably due to a fail or lack of time) in order to prevent any hackers from finding out about them because they insist on keeping them in secret until ORAs release; same for a possible Battle Frontier.
