Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

I do hope we get move tutors for this game, because I would like to get a Kalos Born or Hoenn Born Beedrill with Drill Run. Kinda tempted to use one for teh lulz.

Last time I checked, the hype for Flygon to get a Mega Evo is still going around here. Think Gamefreak will make it, or they're skipping over because Salamence already got one, and it's more or less stronger?

As much as I like Salamence (It is one of my favourite pokemon), I actually would've preferred it if Flygon got a mega over Salamence tbh.

Aww, no trainer rematches then…

I saw the HYPE on the TPP facebook page, but I was talking about people on here not mentioning TPP with Mega Pidgeot's reveal.

EDIT: Two new scans have surfaced.

Edit @ 01:45: Two more images have surfaced. One showcasing the first Mega Rayquaza, showcasing all the information we got on it last week. The second introduces the new PokéNav called the MultiNavi. It has four settings: MapNavi, TVNavi, PlayNavi which includes features like Pokémon Amie and the GTS and DexNavi which helps you find Pokémon in the wild and register them in your Pokédex.

Speaking of TPP, Teachy TV hyp*shot*

What if... Plot Twist: We get the VS Seeker

Also, I saw this on pokebeach:

hoopa.jpg

“It’s said that Hoopa can use the power of the three rings it adorns itself with to move objects about as it pleases… That’s not all! I’ve also heard that when Hoopa unleashes its full power, the size of the rings can grow up to multiple miles in length! With such massive rings, apparently it can transport even entire islands!”

Another thing to note is that Palkia can control space, but in all of its franchise depictions, it has never come through a portal that isn't pink, let alone one with a golden ring around it. It's fun to speculate whether all of this is Hoopa's doing tbh.

I think it could be wishful thinking. The rematches where from the Pokenav originally, so I doubt it would be from the VS Seeker which was released which was LGFR, and DPPt hasn't appeared since.

It was a grind with the Trainers Eyes to get rematches, and Route 111, 117 and 118 if I remember correctly were the easiest for rematches. I just camped the tv crew.

Would be nice to get the VS Seeker or something similar to it.

It's a bit of a pain to talk to every NPC in game just to find a rematch; and certainly Elite 4 fights get boring after a while. (Keep in mind that I only played Sapphire on emulator; never touched it when it was at its peak).

Heck, I probably wouldn't mind if they added something similar to the Battle Chateau, but I doubt it since that's Kalos and this is Hoenn.

At least Super Training came back; hopefully Hordes do as well.

I think we are very likely to get tutors in the game. If we don't I'll be very disappointed since a lot of pokemon are missing really important moves that can only be gotten through tutors.

Yeah, for example Knock Off on Conkeldurr. And yeah I would also be very disappointed if we don't get tutors in this game as well.

Yeah... can't help but feel we should've got some info on tutor moves' existence ages ago. But still, it's really important that Beedrill regains access to Drill Run, cause otherwise even MegaBee will get walled by Steels. Knock Off is just icing in the cake in all honesty, but at least it still has Toxic Spikes, Endeavor and Pursuit as options.

...

In any case, I wonder what other crappyearlyroutemons will get to Mega Evolve next :3

Next thing you know, the utility HM slave gets one (Bibarel).

They already gave the playboy lop a Mega Evolution, so anything is possible. (Butterfree is probably getting one, since Beedrill also did).

But yeah, ORAS sorely needs those move tutors for moves that can't be taught right now in X/Y.

The pledges/elemental Hyper Beams/Draco Meteor ones should still be there. And the move relearner/deleter better be there.

(Can still hope that Mega Eons get a speed buff in final product and/or better design, but at this point, doubting it. And hoping they get their own battle music instead of using the normal encounter theme.)

And the obligatory "Flygon needs Mega".

Speaking of Mega Beedrill, I've been trying to get a Run Away Weedle or at least get a Kakuna safari so that I can be prepared for Mega Beedrill.

Have you tried that X/Y site for Safaris; probably might have someone with a Kakuna safari [in Poison].

Mega Linoone is fine though; probably needs it to help him in Belly Drum things. More attacking power is needed; some speed will help.

(inb4 they make Megas of the other starters later on)

I am breeding Weedle right now. While I would generally use Net Ball for a Bug-type, I decided to use Ultra Ball to go better with Beedrill's colors.

I suppose we'll reach a point, I don't think this generation, that all fully evolved Pokemon will have Megas.

Will we have Mega Beautifly and Mega Dustox next?

Not really: in all other instances of Main Series' games with Move Tutors, we were only able to find them after their release. So don't worry about that just because we weren't informed about them yet.

I just noticed that Weedle has Shield Dust, which is a neat ability. Now I wish Beedrill had retained it, just like Dustox, instead of being replaced by Swarm. Not that it matters much since you should be Mega-Evolving Beedrill right away, but still would be better than Sniper when swtiching it in.

I didn't find trainer eyes horrendous, but I did like on Diamond camping the trainers before Mt. Stark with the VS Seeker, I just don't think they'll bring that in.

I doubt they'll get rid of the Move deleter, its been in Since Gen 2, and with the trade system in XY throwing a strop if you try to trade over a HM Pokemon (never done that in a previous game, used to give me access to a decent Water move early on).

Friend Safaris were nice, but I would access to a bigger variety other than getting lucky in Hordes.

FB groups were a good place for add for Friend Safaris.

It seems like all the gimmick ad ons that Nintendo does are always a pain and then instead of being improved they get scrapped for something else.

I miss seasons. Seasons were cool. Gen VII, please.

When have move tutors ever been important enough for gamefreak to release information about them before the release of the game...?

Seasons, day/night cycles that mean something, weekly shit, Pokemon following you, VS seeker, etc etc.
