I just want to note that every significant character shown off so far that battles (except gym leaders) has a Mega Evolution. Except for one guy: The Secret Base Expert.

And what Pokémon does he use? Flygon. The sandstorm approacheth.

Also it's a shame Megallade couldn't end up with something like Super Luck or Sniper. Megallade megimmicking it up would have been fun as hell.

It's always good to get new footage of the game.

BTW, Pokétele gaves us a taste of the in-game animation for the Primal Reversion process this week.

Since we've been receiving more info in regards to the game's plot and characters, I wonder if anyone feels like making any predictions about possible divergences from the source material.

Even though I will use Groudon, I'm still not tempted to Primal it. Then again I play non-compet, and never use weather anyway. You did remind me I need to sort find Ruby's first Lv 100 team to remake and ween myself off using Colo to level.

I do wonder if they will take parts from Emerald, such as locations for Lugia, Ho-Oh, Mew, etc. or just forget about them.

GAME have changed their price for the 3rd time in a Month.

Given the new info, Rayquaza might be getting a Mega/Primal after all; though we'll have to see or just find out when ORAS comes out.

In my case though, thing goes from 11 pm on 10/1 to 6 am on 10/2; I should be up to watch it (despite having exams the next morning).

Think someone will either post it on Youtube or something later on, if I miss anything.

As for Kyogre (because I bought Sapphire), most likely going to Mega Evolve (or Primal), though I don't utilize weather that often. I may reconsider however.

Mega Rayquaza looks ugly and will anyone take advantage of Delta Streams, Winds?

I mean, it takes away one of his weaknesses, gives him an extra resistance (I believe that's how it'll work), and turns a 4x weakness into a 2x weakness.

That's pretty good for an ability if it works like Serebii says it works.

The official site has posted some lore behind Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre
It was a primal age, early in the world's history... The natural world was overflowing with energy. That energy granted Groudon and Kyogre an overwhelming power. Seeking ever more of that energy for themselves, the two clashed again and again, and their battles cast the people and Pokémon of Hoenn into great danger. Brimming with the overwhelming power granted by the energy of nature, this transformation was named by later people "Primal Reversion." And the people called their tormentors Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

One Pokémon looked down upon this battle from the sky above. The Pokémon that dances in the heavens: Rayquaza. Rayquaza is venerated by the people of Hoenn as their protector and saviour. When Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre had battled for 20 dawns and 20 nights, the world began to lose its natural balance and tilt toward destruction. The people, unable to endure any more, cried out to their mighty saviour Rayquaza before a great stone that shone with rainbow brilliance. And a change came upon Rayquaza, weaving in the sky above Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. Suffused in brilliant light, its body began to transform visibly. And then...
Also it is stated that Rayquaza will mega evolve in a different way to other pokemon.

See, I'm not sure if it halfs it or just makes the multiplier x1 on Super Effective hit. Its good either way though since one gives you an extra resistance and the other removes a weekness.

Anyway, I LOVE his design. Looks amazing imo.

So Delta Winds is, like the other's abilities, a buffed version of their old ability.

And Rayquaza looks awesome.....except it's face, well its mouth/chin looks kinda....derpy.

Not really, since Air Lock only negated the effects of the active weather condition, while Delta Stream summons an entirely new one that possesses the same mechanics as Primordial Sea and Desolate Land.

Also it is stated that Rayquaza will mega evolve in a different way to other pokemon.

I predict it will be able to Mega Evolve without holding a Mega Stone. But you will need to have a certain Key Item in you bag to do so.

I might have to agree with you there. I know the upcoming anime special focusing on mega evolutions where there is a dormant monolith where the secrets of Mega Evolution will be explained and Rayquaza is set to appear as well.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. While pictures have yet to be posted, the information that has come out is set to reveal Mega Latios, Mega Latias as well as two brand new Megas, Mega Pidgeot and Beedrill. Images of these specific parts of CoroCoro are yet to come, so it's technically unconfirmed, but the leakers have shown other parts of CoroCoro giving credence to this. We'll bring more, and pics, as they come so keep checking back.
Edit @ 09:45: Mega Pidgeot is Normal/Flying-type with the ability No Guard and Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison-type with the ability Adaptability. You can fly on Mega Latios & Latias in the overworld and find Pokémon such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga & Palkia in the sky
