I don't know what you're talknig about, it looks like a badass spaceship. With the back legs like rocket propulsion.

But if they're giving Tough Claws alongside increases in EVERY stat, including a BIG increase in Speed, especially, this thing is going to be an absolute monster.

Still probably loses to Sucker Punch tho

I'd have to agree with you on that now I see it from that angle it looks so awkward might just not Mega it.

Yea, I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the Mega either. I didn't like it at first because it looked pretty off balance with the giant arms in the front and nothing in the back, but the arms just hanging there is really awkward.

If the arms were more tucked in I think it would be fine. The way they look in that picture, they just kind of hang there. I want to like, but I'm going to need better images. It doesn't help matters that Meta is one of my favorite pokemon.

I'm not that happy with the Sp.Atk increase. It would need to be MASSIVE to make a special set better than a physical one, especially with him getting Tough Claws.

Special Set is interesting just because no one's going to expect it, really.

Back arms still just look like rocket propulsion to me. I have no qualms with it. I can just imagine it flying around right now all badass and shit.

It looks almost like the designed it and forgot about the back arms of Metagross. I would probably mega most of the my team, when I'm bothered to get on bank to work out my team.

Doesn't remind me of a spaceship then again the only spaceships I've seen recently are Minecraft Galaticraft ones. Maybe if I wasn't so attached to its original design I might have enjoyed it more.

Yea, being attached to the original design is certainly hurting my opinion of this.

I do see the spaceship analog though. And it was pointed out to me that if the back legs were just removed it would look worse. As it stands, I'm going to wait to see more images of it before I make my final call because I do want to like it.

Every time I see it, come to my mind the images of Don Quixote attacking the windmills that he believed were multi-armed giants like Briareus.

I think the Metagrossite will come with the Metang we receive after defeating the champion, so I don't really expect to use this as my mega during the main story (Also, it would need to be around level 50 or something to be a Metagross, and that would be overleveled by most of the story).

My mega will probably be just my starter.

You get a Beldum after beating the Champion? Is this a Gen III thing I'm unaware of, or are we assuming based on Diantha, or was this revealed already at one point and I forgot?

There's one in stephen's house after you beat him

Can't believe you didn't know afterall it was the only way to obtain the Beldum line in RSE. Infact apart from Pokemon Colo's Shadow Metagross it was the only way to obtain the Beldum line in the whole of the Generation III games (inc. LGFR). I added the Lv 5 Beldum to my team instantly.

I know for a fact I won't be using Makuhita/Hariyama, only because their high EXP requirement meant it took twice as long to reach Lv 100. (I must have ditched it for something in my original Ruby team for that fact).
