Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

Phantom Roxas

I'm wondering about whether or not they'll be able to connect with each other, in a similar vein to what they did with DPP and HGSS. I'll assume it'll work in a similar way [you can trade back and forth between them (with 2 3DS) or something]. If not, you're going to have to use Pokebank to transfer stuff over (and that's only if Bank will be compatible, which it should be).

As for the Mega Stone data for the new Pokes, they're probably not in X/Y's coding (unless they had already done them, but chose to hold them back until ORAS).

The question comes to their use in communicating with XY.

Are they already in the game like Mega Latios and Latias? Do they intend to patch them into XY if they're not? What about those with XY who don't connect their 3DS to the internet? Being portable, you actually have to think about that local connection between games that consoles don't because they generally only connect with each other online.

There was a berry program update for R/S when you hooked it up to FR/LG. The update stopped a glitch that allowed Pokémon go into MINUS HP and thus put them at 999999999 health or something. I'm assuming the same thing would happen. Also finding a Wifi hotspot to do this in is not difficult.

If true, atleast that's been fair on counterparts. Unlike when they decided Duskull needed a 3rd member of the line and Shuppet waited 2 gens for Mega.

Box RS had a limit on transfer needed to meet Pokedex/Elite 4 requirements before use. Hope Bank does have that, just to make it right.

I would peg on there being a patch update for X/Y to include ORAS megas, or else someone would've found their data by now like they did with the Latis.

Same. I mean it took them a decent while to find the Mega Lati coding, but that's mainly because the 3DS's security systems are like Fort Knox.

I'm sure if there was something, it would have been found by now.

No I think the fact that Ampharos has lots of hair and Milotic kinda has hair was the reasoning.

Mega's are all about perms though, they all have lots of hair.

It'd probably like Giratina-O and Shaymin-S in Pt.

Iirc they weren't able to be used in WiFi if the other side's using DP, right?

That's what I don't want, really. Either not letting new Megas even be used vs XY or having them appear as normal would suck.

And hey, if they patch stuff in, then I suppose official competitions won't have to only use ORAS when it comes out (they usually only use the latest game, right?), they could use both.

Mega Rayquaza.

And I would like the E4 to have at least one pokemon that can Mega Evolve:

Sidney: Mega Absol

Phoebe: Mega Banette

Glacia: Mega Abomasnow

Drake: Mega Charizard X

More like Primal Rayquaza to me since he fits directly with the other Primal Pokemon. At the very least  there massive legendary pokemon have a primal and unconstrained power form held within, sorta like Kid Buu from DBZ or Primal Dialga from Mystery Dungeon. Mega Evolution requires a special link towards a trainer and a stone that unifies potential energy and bonding that allows that kind of Mega Evolution. With some legendaries like Mewtwo to be exceptions, it's virtually impossible that the bigger ones get Mega Evolutions.

Also Glacia would probably not have Abomasnow if Omega Red/Alpha Sapphire was Hoenn exclusive at the start. Abomasnow is usually the lead pokemon of an ice-themed team, aside from Megas which are usually the trump cards. This may or not happen but then Mega Walrein sounds intriguing.

And Drake, obviously Mega Salamence or Flygon would surpass. If anything Steven is the one to withold that rumor, and frankly I find neither trainer obtaining or wielding Mega Charizard X

There's the frozen part of Shoal Cave.

Hence why I said "outdoors"

That frozen area is deep underground in a cave on an island in a tropical region. There's no place to bring in an Ice-type evergreen tree here, really. It made sense for Mount Silver in HGSS, but nowhere in Hoenn.

Is this... is this friends? Id be surprised if they didn't keep Wonder Trading considering ORAS are supposed to be compatible with XY, like HG/SS was with D/P.

Anyway, there are just too many awesome Hoenn pokes that need megas, basically all the E4 aces, and therefore M-Walrein and M-Salamence both needed, and Metagross for Steven (would be surprised about Walrein, but not the others), and more. Like, Mega Slaking?!

(looked for Mega slaking fanart but only found Slaking-Kong art:)
