Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

I actually didn't read the Serebii page and just guessed the Type, mostly basing it on the way Ampharos' Mega manifested itself.
I went back and saw the page now; Nice to know that it's half Dragon, which is rather amusing since Grass/Dragon is another new type; The 4x Ice Weakness is silly, though.

To be fair, a lot of dragons have that x4 weakness to Ice. All the Dragon/Flying ones have it. Garchomp and Flygon lines have it, and so does Zygarde.

Well go figure it's a Dragon Type. It can learn the TM for Dragon Claw, and it can learn Dragon Breath as an Egg move. And as a I browse through the Serebii page, it can actually know Dragon Pulse and Outrage as a Tutor move from BW2. Holy crap.

However it's non-evolved state has base stats favored more for Sp. Atk, but I really hope Mega form revolves around a big Atk boost or at least revolving around mixed attacking.

I'm gonna leave my two cents having only just found out about all this info:

- Mega Diancie (Which was a total surprise imo) looks majestic as f***

- Mega Sceptile looks pretty cool. I may pick Treecko when ORAS comes out

- I'm not sure what to think of Mega Swampert tbh, apart from the fact that he defo looks like a Fighting-type

- Steven's new looks is quite cool looking, and I'm not surprised that he's looking for the secrets of Mega evolution as well.

- The piece of art that we got for Groudon and Kyogre looks really awesome/badass

- The new deisgns for Team Aqua/Magma look pretty cool (especially Archie), as does the new designs for May/Brendan.

  - Although I'm not a fan of Tabitha's new design tbh, not at all, they really let him go. And I would like to know why Shelly died her hair.

I hope they'll have a move tutor for outrage in THIS gen.

I still want to IV breed without worrying about losing the move tutor moves from BW2 :T

Oh, and Mega Swampert looks like a fucking tank.

Would love to learn more about the prehistoric/ancient devolution of Groudon and Kyogre before release.

Well it did lose alot of places on the top 300 Pokemon on the Atk stat by Serebii it's 114th, although it's been sliding for a few gens, so an Atk boost would be really nice given it's design although atk has always been it's best stat.

The orbs gotta be the mega stones, right?

Mega Swampert is legit, and now I really want Sceptile in Smash 4.

I'm now on board.

If the orbs were Mega Stones, then it would require a good deal of bonding in order to link a Mega Stone inbetween a Pokemon and its Trainer. The orbs seem more volatile, and I'd deny the fact that they're responsible for Mega Evolution. Of course, I dunno how you would try to tame 2 terrestrial Legendary Pokemon, and the orbs themselves possess the holders according to the anime. Otherwise I could see some more drastic metamorphasis, but the way I feel is that it's more fitted to a Primal or Prehistoric form, just like Primal Dialga in Mystery Dungeon. The similarities between them seem to standout.

Man, I can barely see Maxie in that screenshot :\

EDIT: Serebii added new photos. Okay, Maxie looks weird. I don't think I like him. His glasses make him look like a librarian.

Tabitha should have gone on Swampert's training regiment. One too many Seaport Sodas, huh... i'll stop with the fat jokes, i apologize.

Archie looks friggin sick.

Okay just getting the info now.

Mega Diance, unexpected but I love the look.

Mega Sceptile... FINALLY I CAN LIKE SCEPTILE! I always thought the evolution to Sceptile made it look less cool but that's an amazing Mega. I finally got my Grass/Dragon. Even if it's not quite the way I envisioned it.

Mega Swampert, looks a bit silly. But also looks like a powerhouse, I like it. Gonna be hard to choose between the two.

Brenden/May/Steven look good, nothing spectacular but good.

And I really like Team Magma's looks.... Except what they did to Tabitha. Poor guy already gets picked on for his name, wish they would've made him more cool looking. Seriously it really bothers me....

I like Aqua's designs too, but most of Magma's more. But I have to wonder why Shelly died her hair....

But oh my gosh, Archie is epic level pirate badass.

Basically this, though multiply my excitement over Mega Sceptile by 5. Great looking mega and I am totally digging the Grass/Dragon typing. You keep being awesome, favorite Pokémon.

Finally I'm not the only one on this train.

I'm also curious about the Primal Groudon and Kyogre forms. I'm guessing they're still essentially megas, but are classified differently for lore purposes, or something.

Which could mean future mega forms for legendaries could adopt a similar scheme.

Ok, starting Sceptile. Without a doubt.

I also love the idea to give Aqua a change in complexion; makes much more sense, considering how they are, and it looks awesome as well.

However, Archie's new design doesn't sit well with me. Upon a closer look, it looks like some sort of super hero reject. At least Maxie looks SORT of like a Team Boss.

The new Brenden and May also seem off.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Tabitha's new look.

I think everyone (Most people at least) is digging the Grass/Dragon-typing as well as the fact that Mega Sceptile looks awesome.
