evilfusion
I feel that Regigigas is like that for flavor, not necessarily balance. Its flavor is that it was so powerful, that it was sealed away, and the 3 Regis, which have the ability to awaken it, were scattered and sealed as well. After so long of slumbering, its legs have grown moss. Slow Start emulates the idea of it having incredible power, but having just woke up and isn't quite at its prime. It does make it all but unusable, though...
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I like the idea of Slow Start, as evilfusion just said. But making it last a few less turns would be good. Or buff up its HP a ton, that might be interesting.
a bad post
The thing with Slow Start is I can have Skill Swap shenanigans all night long in triple/double battles. To be honest I've never found it to be a problem. ^ Like I said Skill Swap for mega middle finger to your opponent.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
^ Like I said Skill Swap for mega middle finger to your opponent. Well that doesn't help with single battles, which is what I'm thinking about. Sounds strange that the mighty legend needs teammates to be good. Also never post again, you're at 666. The Warden
God knows how it's just flavour when Groudon and Kyogre slept and the first thing they did after waking up was wreck s**t up. Hopefully however, with these remakes it could justify the reappearance of the Eon Ticket and the Old Sea Chart. Though I think they might replace the Eon Island Soul Dew with a Mega Stone. ~British Soul~
Assuming that all of the Regis will be available in whichever version you buy, it will suck if you don't get Gigas at some point in game. That being said, there aren't too many caves it can stay around in last time I checked (I remember Scorched Slab on Route 120 was empty, but don't think it's big enough to hold it). What they could do is add an underground section to Scorched Slab that can only be accessed if you have the Regis in your party. Though I think they might replace the Eon Island Soul Dew with a Mega Stone. That is what I have speculating about when the games were first announced. Flash Flyer - Sakura
What they could do is add an underground section to Scorched Slab that can only be accessed if you have the Regis in your party. That works. Can't remember if there were any other empty caves in Hoenn. As for Soul Dew, I wonder about that one as well. If they get the Mega Stone instead, we can see if those hacks are indeed true or not. I only played Sapphire on a GBA emulator, so I missed a lot of stuff. (This could justify an XD/Colosseum remake for Wii [U], but I don't know.)

~British Soul~
Even though next Sunday's episode of Pokemon Get☆TV is confirmed to show new Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire info, it is pretty much likely to be a repeat of the info that'll be revealed in the upcoming issue of CoroCoro which'll also be out towards the end of next week. Flame Dragon
Its also likely a repeat of info we'll be getting from E3.
-Dom-
Do you think they'll add any locations for new legendaries (regigigas) or just generally, like the Sinjoh ruins in HG/SS? Does anyone think they will/ should expand on diving; cos that was so cool back then, and in 3d with good graphics should be amazing now
The Warden
Well, they expanded on Diving in gen V, so I imagine they could. Hell, maybe they'll add an expansive underwater dungeon that opens up post game that will lead you to Regigigas.

Delibirb
Hopefully one that doesn't use another dozen braille puzzles. Given that's sorta the theme of the regis, and the braille puzzles are actually enjoyable (to me, at least), I imagine that some will be involved in the locating of Regigigas. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Just remind self to print out a sheet of the Braille alphabet if that is the case. Either that, or they better include a guide to it inside the game manual. But given Hoenn does have a lot of sea, it is plausible to have more caves underwater and fight Regigigas (or whatever other legendaries) there. Would be nice to see how diving looks like in Gen 6 with the 3-D graphics. As British mentioned earlier, Route 103 had Altering Cave (in Emerald) but it was useless, so they could put it to better use now.
Flame Dragon
Based on how small the water routes they've been putting in games now, I wonder what they are going to do about the vast ocean that was 3rd gen.
Agro
Make Tentacool and Wingull less common? That'd about do it for me.
Phantom Roxas
Mega forms of Diancle, Sceptile, and Swampert confirmed. And yes, apparently Groudon and Kyogre's new forms are Mega Evolutions.http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml
Cin
I was just beaten. They were obvious really. It was only fair given Blaziken got one. Atleast it should mean Nintendo get off their ass and give people outside Japan Diancie, maybe a mega form is why they held off.
Maeriberii Haan
I'm laughing my ass off at Mega-Swampert's design.
