Astro Dude
So it's Ruby and Sapphire fused with X and Y. No, I'm not doing the Polymerization joke.

Tentacruel
I know I say this about every Nintendo game, but this will be best Nintendo game.
Agro
I think that at this point, between Pokemon, Mario Kart, and Smash, Nintendo is likely to make a profit on the Software end, and likely, the 3DS end. The question will come then, whether Smash and Mario Kart will move enough Wii U consoles. And if adding in Bayonetta, X, Hyrule Warriors (probably), and HOPEFULLY an unannounced game they reveal at E3 (like 3D World last year) will move enough to get over the the Dreamcast hump, and perhaps even the GameCube hump. I don't think we see Zelda Wii U released until next year.
DL
Nintendo can surely do it. Especially with their strategy for Brawl. Too bad they dont have more 3rd party support or better commercials XO But as far as 1st party games....ah, so good...

-Dom-
Was this the big news that people were saying would come on the 11th (today)? If so, that's a bit disappointing.
J-Max
So all we got was some Ingame footage of Groudon and Kyogre destroying a island? Boring.... Ninty needs to give some of the No evoltuion Pokemon some love. I would throw my money at Nintendo if we got Mega Spinda and Luvdisc.....

A lot of people thought that was a Evo for Luvdisc when it was first revealed.
Cin
I think alot of people made that mistake. They have to tease us, although a bit of the intro is a bit of a bummer. Hopefully CoroCoro has something for us next month.
~British Soul~
CoroCoro better reveal a sufficient amount of info to make up for the tiny amount of footage we saw last night.
Flame Dragon
Guys, if we don't get something of substance during E3 I will ban myself for a day. Again, I don't understand why we got this info now and not during E3, but based on the amount of buzz they got from this, I guess it worked out. Flame Dragon
XY wasn't announced at E3. That doesn't mean much. Announcing really big titles during E3 helps to get tons of people hyped for what your doing. As it stands, I think they will get even more thanks to the buzz this has gotten and them not even showing actual gameplay, but I still do find it a tad strange. Maybe the game plan was saying this now would bring peolpe to the E3 Direct who wouldn't have otherwise watched because they now want to learn more about OR and AS. Agro
My point was that it shouldn't seem weird for them to announce this over a month before E3 since XY was also announced before E3- albeit in January. Nintendo also announced Link Between Worlds and several other games a few months in advance, instead of announcing them at E3.
BehindTheMask
Makes sense - generate buzz for this game before E3, create even more hype for this game. Get more people to visit your booths at E3. Also, anyone else see this fake?

Nintendo also announced Link Between Worlds and several other games a few months in advance, instead of announcing them at E3. Obviously games could be announced a few months before E3. Its the one month gap that I find interesting since at that point they have a very real question of if they should announce them now or wait. Nintendo has pulled back from E3, but they still know its important. The model looks so bad. Also, it looks like they in front of the gate leading into Lumiose City

Astro Dude
Hasn't 3d Brendan and 3d May been done before? Oh wait, Colosseum and Gale of Darkness. But what about Gym Leaders? E4, Champ? others? Also, this should be better than the original. What's next? Pokemon Sparkling Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, Pokemon Yin Black and Pokemon Yang White? Pokemon Life X and Pokemon Destruction Y?
