My dragon deck

Recommended Posts

Alright, let me spell it out for you:

  1. Single copies of every card.
Unacceptable unless you're playing in a highlander format, where that is your only deckbuilding option. Adding copies of useful cards adds to consistency and averts dead draws more often.
  2. Verging on the 60-card upper limit.
It's preferable to get as close to the 40-card minimum as possible to maximize the chance of you drawing the cards that are necessary for the situation.
  3. Cards that are only for specific combos.
Take Inferno Fire Blast for example. What happens if you don't control your sole copy of Red-Eyes Black Dragon? That's what we call a dead draw.
  4. Just what kind of badly-built Decks did you defeat with this? Were they also playing highlander too?

5. Lacking consistency
Outside of like maybe 2 cards, TC's deck won't really do much outside of desperately trying to formulate some kind of play and/or hoping to topdeck something; Both of these are bad ways to play.

The Deck lacks a win condition. And just in case, if you think the Win Condition is to summon a bunch of monsters with alot of ATK, there are a bunch of other Dragon Decks that do so much better.

Take Hieratics and Chaos Dragons. Even a Horus Deck is better than this.

A Dragon Deck is meant to Special Summon. And from how I see it, you aren't Special Summoning anything with this Deck unless you get a stroke of luck. Your opponent isn't going to sit there while you take 2 turns to summon 2 monsters to tribute.

Here are some bad cards you have:

Dragon's Treasure: 200 ATK and DEF. You know there's a card called United We Stand and Mage Power right?

Mountain: 200 ATK and DEF. Woo.

Dragon's Rage. Piercing Damage. Why do you need it? You just special summon monsters and attack like crazy anyways.

What is with all your Normal Monsters? They are practically useless and don't do anything.

Some other things:

You are running too many monsters.

You need your Deck at 40 cards, as stated above.

I could state more, but I don't want to type anymore. I'll just make an example Deck using the exact same cards you have above.

I'm sorry if you found this comment offensive in any way, but we are simply trying to help you. It doesn't matter if you win against an x amount of Decks, its the type of Decks that matter. And Cyber, Scrap, and Fairy Decks aren't very powerful from my perspective.

Update: I just made a new deck out of your cards exactly. Didn't put any cards in. Just took out the cards already in your deck and increased card count. Even this deck would do better.

Sigh, I was crying when I made this Deck.
