Is it a lack of confidence in your knowledge or the impression your true answer may give off?

I honestly don't think there's anyone here that I can point to and say that they're smarter than me.

I also cannot point to anyone and say that they're not as intelligent as me. Except maybe the 5 year olds.

Wouldn't it be much more likely for the intelligence level of the site to not be constant and, rather, slightly spread with seldom outliers?

Possibly, but differentiating people by intelligence is entirely subjective and impossible to measure.

Plus saying someone isn't as intelligent as someone else is just generally a dick move.

I don't think it is. You could easily use fitness level and say that one person is much more fit than another, even subjectively. Why would you desist from making a sincere statement on the intelligence of people if you are being honest and not malevolent?

Because it's inherently malevolent.

Intelligence goes far beyond anything you could comprehend simply by speaking with them on a forum.

Inherently malevolent? That is sincerely a ridiculous notion. Malevolence and benevolence are designated and descriptive based on human ideas. You could say they are extrinsically malevolent, because they are being assigned the adjective, but to say anything is intrinsically good or bad is not knowing the definition of "inherent."

I think you can judge intelligence on a forum. I do it all the time, Agro.

I'm just saying.

I don't have an opinion whether people are more or less intelligent than me because I don't feel I have enough knowledge of any single person's life experience to make an assumption.

Wouldn't that depend, though?
I mean everyone is knowledgeable about things that surround them, so the differences would very.

That's the point. There's no reason to think I'm more or less intelligent than someone else if everyone has a different opinion on who is more or less intelligent.
