the_engineer
This is the list i'm planning to make (At least if i find the 2nd Cycle Reader), however i'm a bit concerned on which tuner is better between Cycle Reader and Chaos-End Master -The first allows Beelze plays + banishes LIGHT monsters -The second allows a special summon of an artifact with <1600 ATK if it destroys things in battle and is searchable by RotA What is your opinion on this? Ultravires
Synchro builds are really bad. The only tuner worth using in the deck is Eccentric Boy and he's absolutely terrible since you can only go into Zera. Maining Cycle Readers severely hurts consistency because it's dead against literally everything but Bujins and the mirror match. Chaos-End Master is just total ass and there's no reason to run RotA in here. Overlay Booster seems cool and all but very often if the opponent has answers you will end up trading to the point you're both topdecking, and OB is very bad at that point in the game. As for things you should be running, Thunder King shuts down match-ups the deck has a hard time against (see: Geargia and rogues) and goes with Honest. If you're going to run 10 Artifacts, the 10th should be Scythe in particular to break up plays. It's imperative, potentially even at more than 1, post-DUEA when Shadolls and Cosmics take over. Maxx "C" is basically staple at 2 with the third in the side now because seeing it will prevent a game-ending push if you have 2 or more backrow that they are unable to break up. Double Cyclone isn't absolutely terrible at 3 but you should just run the third MST over it. Your opponent is not always going to have live backrow. Duality should be played at 3 because it increases consistency by a ton and you want to see it since you never Special on your turn until after you've set up the field and responded to a push anyway. Out of the staple backrow, Compulse has come back to the forefront now in the OCG and Bottomless/Solemn have started to take a backseat, however with Soul Charge format going live they're more relevant in the TCG. Compulse is more relevant in the OCG, so it depends on what you'll be playing. Staple backrow in this format is Breakthrough Skill for obvious reasons; Artifacts will pop backrow and it's still live unlike Fiendish Chain. The Extra obviously changes depending on what you run; 101 and Castel are shoe-ins for Extra spots if you have the space.

Well, i have a pair of reasons i run this build: 1) Maxx C is just too expensive (20€ for just 1 and no one wants to trade them) 2) I can't afford other staple Xyzs (example: Number 101 and Exciton in my country are locally sold respectively at 45 and 80€) 3) I have yet to find a ultra rare Breakthough Skill (because it's cool and i already have one) This list seems a bit cheaper than the ones other people will most probably use, and that's why i rely on synchros like Beelze or Stardust. However i still have to agree with your lines.
