Rank-Up Magic - The Seventh One

To activate this card, you must draw it for your normal draw in your Draw Phase, reveal it, and keep it revealed until the start of Main Phase 1. At the start of your Main Phase 1 that same turn, you can Special Summon, from your Extra Deck or Graveyard, 1 monster that has a number between "Number 101" and "Number 107" in the name, except "Number C" monsters. Then Xyz Summon, from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" monster with the same number in its name as the first monster, by using it as the Xyz Material. You can only apply the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One" once per Duel.

*Looks at colour of name* It's more likely that it's a Secret (rather than a rare), though I'm not that surprised that it got bumped to Secret, discuss

Look, I get that they wanted to emulate 'Barian's Chaos Draw', but let's be honest... This card is half-assed because it rewards luck to such an extreme, and more often then not, can win you the game by itself.
Add to it, because it's dependent on topdecking, and literally nothing else, it makes it incredibly fragile.

Opening hand =/= Being drawn for your normal draw in the Draw Phase.
Yes, starting with a copy of this in-hand won't let you use it, and will render it dead.

This is stupid, although I guess it needed some kind of restriction. It's a really powerful card.

You can't have it in your opening hand. That would defeat the purpose of it. How can you act like you are a good player if you had the card already in your hand? No, you have to draw it. That makes it okay. You should also act surprised when you draw it, even though literally every single time first turn you draw it.

It's the most lucksack card ever thought of, given form. to 0 now please.
I just lost on DN against a guy who drew this and proceeded to destroy all of my work by reviving the c107 i killed ON MY LAST TURN AND BRINGING OUT A SECOND C107!!!  who in their right mind thought printing a card that summons busted monsters for no cost was a good thing?
/rant

>no cost
You can't revive the regular Over Hundred Number and you need to keep this revealed from drawing it by the normal draw, through standby phase, and into MP1. I'd say that's hard enough.

Besides, in most decks they still summon the busted monster but with one more card.

I messed up typing that, still had a few words from a very long post.I wrote a very long paragraph in that spoiler and deleted it shortly after.

Also, talking strictly benefit-loss, the benefit is far higher than what it takes to activate it so long as it's not in your opening hand. if your monster gets beaten, this card says "lolnope we're gonna take the game anyways." other than the drawing clause, this thing is nuts.
