Astro Dude
The Dragalge episode that was supposed to air this week is delayed. This is what DisneyLM from toonzone.net had to say: For the Love of God!! Why should an episode should be sidetracked all because of some real world event that corratles to the fiction that is in this episode!? Just do what Robotics;Notes do, before the epsiode starts it state that (Something about for added realism, this is not real-something) point is....it's not like this epsiode was made the day before air date, it was schuduled, and made way before some crap that happened. You wanna know what should be delayed!? The tons of innaopporite, and hilaruoud funny Japanese commericals that your child will be exposed to right after Pokemon is over for the day, and he changes the channel. (Boo hoo, cry me a river, and grow a pair.) Titanic-Titanic people...2 Towers-2 Towers, Bombing Marathon filled with self-proclaimed while folks, it happens, then you either sit there, and mourn over it OR you move on!! (How nice of you to correct me with some words that I got wrong. You know what!? I'm not gonna even correct myself even though the see the red lines which would easily correct it for me.) I say the Dragalge episode should air on April 24th as intended. Who's with me?
Just Crouton
So in summary, some tragedy happened that actually matters when compared to a crappy cartoon and prompted a new episode of the crappy cartoon to be delayed, and this drooling window-licker is telling people to get over it so he can watch his crappy cartoon. Maybe you people should get over the fact that there are bigger things in the world than cartoons. Also, like many of these idiots on the internet, his grammar sucks, so that's strike 1 and 2. Just Crouton
Just cast your vote. We only have two days to change TVTokyo's minds. ____ But, this is stupid. Why would TVTokyo listen to people on the internet who are streaming their shows without their permission? TVTokyo isn't obligated to appease people who are stealing their product, some of which are likely making money off of it. They would be stupid to do so because no company benefits from piracy. Just wait a week and get over it. Vote casted.
Blake
What the f*** is wrong with you? First all of your annoying fantasies that have nothing to do with anything coherent, now this. Why would we want to continue on as if nothing happened? Being callous doesn't help anyone, and this is just childish. Hell, I'm ashamed that I've even seen DisneyLM on Ygorg's disqus comments now. And his Angel Beats! avi.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
@TC: Considering the nature of this episode and what happened in South Korea, airing this on the heel of such an event would be insensitive to Koreans (and possibly to viewers in other countries). As a hypothetical question, if all of your friends/family died in a similar accident on the heel of this; would you like this episode to be aired (despite being in the middle of a mourning period)? This has been the case with several of the episodes within the anime: Japan's ones include: (1) AG episode involving Whiscash/Earthquake in AG (because of the Chuetsu earthquake at the time), (2) Original BW 23/24 because of the Fukushima incident. In the USA's case, some of the episodes from Season 1 were banned b/c of their supposed relation to 9/11 or other incidents. In short, while we'd like to see it on time, because something like this happened (and pretty sure people are still grieving over lost ones), going forward with the show at this time is not a good idea (unless you want Pokemon to get a bad rep for being insensitive to similar problems in our world and in there). It may get re-aired eventually, but just enjoy Ash/Satoshi having his gym battle earlier.
~British Soul~
As a hypothetical question, if all of your friends/family died in a similar accident on the heel of this; would you like this episode to be aired (despite being in the middle of a mourning period)? Believe it or not, I asked this question in the XY thread and he would still like the episode to have aired.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Yeah, I saw. To be frank, it is heartless to the families of those affected. It's true that Pokemon has been retconning episodes out of their lineups because of natural (or sometimes human, in this case) disasters; we'd like to have the whole series shown in the order they're meant to go in. But sometimes, they have to be removed because people don't want reminders of recent events. Let's reference the end of Pokemon Heroes with the tidal wave. If it were shown now instead of back in 2002-2003, it would've been bad taste to show it b/c of the tsunami/earthquake that hit Japan in 2011. Or referencing last year's bombing, it would've also been bad taste to have an episode with Electrode or w/e Pokemon using Explosion or Selfdestruct. This goes for any anime (ZEXAL 1-2 got Poseidon's Wave changed b/c it evokes memories of the tsunami).
CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
Believe it or not, I asked this question in the XY thread and he would still like the episode to have aired. In conclusion: he doesn't give a shit about it... ._. I am glad I didn't bother to get to know that bastard. If episodes by natures that would deem disrespectful to this mourning period, it only make sense to delay them out of respect to South Korea however long it take. Astro Dude
IF THAT'S HOW YOU FEEL THEN YOU'RE ALL STUPID MORONIC IDIOTS WHO DON'T CARE ABOUT POKEMON AT ALL!
Flash Flyer - Sakura
We do care about the series (and yes, this is not the first time Pokemon has deprived us of episodes that should've been aired, like Team Plasma's BW uniforms and not just the B2W2 ones), however if you read British's comments to you in the general XY thread; they're doing so out of respect for the people who've died in the recent accident (considering this episode is very similar to what happened). I'll repeat this statement ONLY ONCE: We'd all like to have XY 024 air on schedule, but because it would be considered insensitive to air it now in light of this situation, it's best to let these people mourn their loved ones in peace (since I'm pretty sure Koreans watch Pokemon as well) and let the incident die down over time. Would you like Pokemon to get a bad rap for being insensitive to issues such as this. It's no different than America not airing Tower of Terror on TV in light of the Twin Tower attacks (they were later released on DVD).
Astro Dude
They aired sunken ship episodes before. So, very well, I will let this minute issue pass. But if they don't air the Dragalge episode on May 8th, there will be a price to pay. After all, the episode is made now major script changes have to be made and the episode will have to be redone. Cin
I'm sorry that Japan are being sensitive. Seriously, there was no point to this topic, if TVTokyo have decided to be compassionate to those families who have lost children that is there decision, no tantrum from you is going to change it. LOCKED.
