....yeah.
Thought the charged special ed student was bad? Rapper cutting off his own penis made you lose faith in humanity? Well, I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you. And of course, it's inevitable that the media is gonna blame video games for this. Honestly, this crazy twat would've killed his son over anything.

On a side note, he looks like a villain from Law and Order or something.

I don't understand why we even put trash like him through the process of booking, jail, court, etc.  If I were a cop, and I were to be one of the first arrived on the scene, I'd have just shot the motherfucker.  What is everyone gonna do, arrest me for killing a child murderer?  Maybe some people just have more self control but I don't know how you DON'T have an urge to do that to someone like him.  Seriously, though, this is tragic.  Very tragic.  My mood is pretty much ruined the rest of the day.

If the dad got tired of hearing his kid cry, he should've made him wear a pacifer or something. Or put him in a daycare or something if you rather play CoD or w/e the man was playing at the time.

Then again, he should've been watching him anyway instead of doing Xbox, given the kid is still a year old (and will require attention). It's not the game's fault that he decided to kill his kid; it's the man's own. (Well, depending on what he was playing of course; assuming it's a M-rated one or something)

Ironically, I have to write a paper on why games are good but this pretty much proves an example of why they wouldn't.

The dude obviously has a bit more going on in his head than just wanting to play CoD or not wanting to watch his kid.  Got tired of hearing his kid cry?  Nigga shut the door, go in the other room, or don't reproduce.  This dude has major mental issues, his priorities are fucked up, and he's just a fucking asshole.  Like honestly I blame his fucking parents too, for not realizing their goddamn child needed to be put in a mental institution.  I also blame the mother, for even letting this prick impregnate her to begin with.  Seriously this shit has me absolutely furious.

I don't want to be that "why does anyone care" guy, but the only reason this story is getting spread around is because video games are involved.

At this point it really doesn't matter what he was doing.  He killed his kid.  Lock him up.  Open and shut case.

This is only tangentially related, but I get really annoyed at things like the title of this thread that omit the word "charged".  While it can sometimes be quite clear that he did it, it's important to respect that sanctity of our judicial system and remember innocent until proven guilty.  This is my biggest qualm with modern media.  It always runs a story when someone is charged, but never when they are acquitted.  IMO there should be something to protect those accused of crimes especially before they are convicted.

Indeed.

That's why I was annoyed by the Zimmerman and Casey Anthony cases.

"How could they let someone go free who committed such a terrible crime?"  It's like people don't even understand the basics of our legal system.

This is a good point... I remember those cases and being frustrated with the media on them. Not sure why I didn't think about that here, but true.

It's weird that the basics of the legal system are expected to be understood when many of the basics aren't even stood next to and performed by our own judicial system and police force.  It's a broken system in general.

Plus, who gives a fuck for real?  We all fucking know this guy did it.  You could tell Casey Anthony was guilty.  You could tell Zimmerman was a prick.  Idk, I just really don't know why it's even pointed out.  Not trying to be a dick but is that even so much an issue when it's so clear?
