It can also be searched by ROTA if I ever need it to remove a monster in a pinch. It may require more setup than Electromagnetic Turtle or Rainbow Kuriboh, but Disciple can potentially remove threats instead of blocking attack as the other two do. Ultravires
I don't like the Chaos Infinity engine. While it does advance board state in some small way, it doesn't allow you to disrupt the opponent's field or establish a Synchro play when they end their turn the way Facing does. Toolboxing is everything in Shadolls, they're a more responsive Warrior Toolbox.
Darj
You are right. I got too used to activating Infinity only on my turn that I didn't consider activating it during the opponent's turn. I could use Infinity during the opponent's turn too, but I don't see the point when I could be milling a Shadoll with their archetype trap instead of summoning a Wisel that will die in the End Phase anyways. I will stick with Infinity for a while to continue testing, then I will try "Facing the Shadows".
Darj
bump + edits I swapped to Facing the Shadows. I was also testing Midrash at 2 but I really needed the 3rd copy in some duels so I made changes to the Extra; without Wisel, the deck doesnt' make Rank 4s as often as before, thus I dropped Castel for space. By the way, to those who run Shadoll Roots at 1: How has the trap worked for you? I'm thinking in running 1 copy for a different Shadoll S/T target for the El-Shadolls, but I'm not sure if searching for a Trap Monster is worth it. Darj
update Made a couple of changes, and since other variants of Shadolls popped out, I edited the thread title. Question: Would "Beginning of the End" be a legit 1-of in the deck? I'm not sure because it looks like more of a win-more card, but at the same time a +2 is nothing to laugh at. Activating it is not a big issue with Armageddon, Foolish, Facing the Shadows, Lizard and Nephilim milling DARKs, and Shadolls don't really mind banishing their monsters from the grave as long as they keep a target or 2 for Falcon.
