Name: Yasu Miyake Age: 14 Gender: Female Date of Birth: November 6 Appearance: Considering she's only 14 years old, Yasu is actually rather well developed so far, standing at 5' 3" and having a BWH ratio of 25-20-21. Her right hand is always covered by a hand puppet that appears in the form of a rabbit. Yasu never seems to want to take it off, even when changing outfits or bathing, and when she's holding something in her right hand, such as her scythe which she likes to keep at her left side, it looks as though the rabbit is holding it for her. Also, when she has one of her usual Tourette's Syndrome twitches, Yasu's eyes tend to force themselves wide open, if only for a split second. Personality: Yasu has almost no control over Tourette's Syndrome, and it shows. She even ticks mid-sentence, which is why she tends to stay silent and keep her distance. After all, she'd figured a long time ago that if there was no persevering over her Tourette's Syndrome, she could've at least saved herself from the embarrassment. Yasu occasionally talks to the rabbit hand puppet that she wields in her right hand, and pretends to have a conversation with it when she's alone, or at least some distance away from the others. Yasu considers herself to be [acronym='which is funny because her Arcana is Strength']both physically and mentally weak[/acronym], but perhaps that will change once she obtains her Persona. In case it isn't obvious, Yasu is a very shy and timid person in general. She never made any friends, and she'd more often than not get told off just because someone didn't like her constantly ticking as she did. The only person who was willing to show kindness to Yasu despite her Tourette's Syndrome was her own mother, and even then the reluctance of having to deal with the situation could be seen in her eyes. Still, it's because of this that Yasu holds deep anger and hatred of herself inside, which she keeps bottled because she can't bring herself to vent, out of fear that she might hurt herself, or god forbid someone else... These ticks usually occur at end of sentences that Yasu tries to make or in between syllables that she tries to pronounce, but if she tries to speak too quickly, the ticks can even outright replace syllables. Yasu has another tick which makes her look as though she's biting thin air. She has no control over her own jaw with this tick, but if she's about to accidentally bite someone or something, she can at least move her head out the way given she realizes it. Yasu's ticks get worse when she gets confused, enraged or in a state of fear, panic or distressed. A quick cast of Patra should solve it though. Yasu has triplet sisters in her family, Madoka Miyake, Rika Miyake and Chieko Miyake; all of which are 17 as opposed to Yasu's 14. All three sisters are at the final year of high school, where Madoka is the introvert, who's rather plump as a result of her gluttony, Rika is the cheerleader, who has the perfect hourglass figure to her body and isn't afraid to show it off, and Chieko is the goth, who has self-made scars on her wrists, cheek and eye. Their mother Hikaru works as a priestess of the church. Yasu has the smallest breast size of the family, with only B-cup breasts to show for her development. Chieko and Madoka share the next smallest size with CC-cup breasts, Rika has the second-largest with DD-cup breasts and Hikaru has the absolute largest by a long shot with a gargantuan pair of L-cup breasts. Yasu was originally only inside Hikaru's womb because the latter had offered to become a surrogate for a gay couple, and was meant to be raised by said couple. Unfortunately, that same couple eventually realized that they couldn't afford to raise a child, and when they informed Hikaru, she was evidently disheartened. Despite her original intention, Hikaru insist that she loves Yasu just as much as her triplet daughters. Name symbolism: 潮身 愛作(Shiomi Aisaku), Shio as in tide or salt water, mi as in origin, so Shiomi is 'from salt water'. Ai is love(duh), Saku as in 'create', so...Creating love.....or love creates. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Personality] Raiko is a bit more assertive and tough than many people would expect from a typical high school girl. Even in her early childhood, she was annoyed by the exceedingly conservative beliefs and values her family had and, maturing, let that annoyance grow into more of a disgust. Because she lived in an environment with very little freedom, she has a strong dislike for people who are afraid of progress or change for the better. She does not believe that certain people should be forced to do certain things, and hates when people bully others into situations they are not comfortable with. But, because she has learned a more liberal world view from opposing her family and is against the notion of many obligations, she is friendly in the way that she will banter about anything with anybody lightheartedly, taking practice into much more consideration than theory so that even if she finds somebody she very much disagrees with, she will not mind their beliefs as long as they do not become a major detriment to themselves or others around them. She very often thinks of the future and contemplates what it COULD be and not what it is obligated to be, thinking that the only entity who should be able to decide one's future is oneself, a belief she may hold on to extreme amounts. Her assertiveness was bred by her opposition to her family in that, rather than trying to be a clean, quiet, dainty angel of a woman, she has intentionally caused herself to get into fights in the past and still is not afraid of speaking up, these things often out of a hidden desire not to fall victim to the destiny she fears her family preordained for her. While she does much of this out of fear, she, however, has genuinely grown assertive and has experience in combat. Nothing formal as much as dirty, but the many experiences she has had by ignoring her family and questioning/adventuring has made her very good at empathizing with people by comparing how they must feel to any of her experiences. In terms of people and dealing with them, she usually considers herself a bit of a protector to people she becomes fond of. Due to the image of what a good lady should be that her family tried to force her into, she has grown hesitant of asking for help and tries to deal with problems herself unless she really sees no way out of them herself. Otherwise, she is very open-minded to all kinds of people with a very strong "live and let live" motif behind her own attitude. She also has a bit of a free spirit that she feels as a release from the shackles of her past. If she can either explore an interesting, abandoned area or attend some kind of party, she would probably explore the area. Or, rather, the sort of person who would be very fine with breaking rules as long as there was no significant damage dealt, or skipping classes to do as she pleases as long as she knew the class was not too important. Skuld is one of three important Valkyrie who is responsible for deciding the fate of all men and gods. Skuld is also, as a Valkyrie, very capable of holding her own in a fight. The trio she is part of is also known for even refusing Odin's commands and doing as they please regardless of him, never facing actual repercussions for it, often by virtue of their own power. She is also the youngest of not only that trio, but of all twelve valkyrie. In terms of the character's symbolism: -Her name, Raiko Mikazuki, means "next child of the new moon;" representing her strong belief in progress and change. Intentionally contrary to her family's beliefs. -Her date of birth, January 1st, is the beginning of the new year and, like her name, signifies progress and, to many, a new start. -Skuld has strong ties with controlling destiny, something Raiko believes only the self should control. Like Skuld's being a valkyrie, Raiko is a woman with strong combat capabilities. -While Skuld controls the destinies of others, she is also fully willing to do as she wishes regardless of Odin's wrath or perceived authority, as Raiko tries to create her own future no matter what her actual family would try to indoctrinate. -More importantly, Skuld is the youngest of her group. Youth generally signifies naivety, innocence, curiosity and being adventurous. So the next order of business is to establish social link Personas for Hina's character, as well as decide the order in which characters will face their Shadows. I best conclusion I think was a battle to the death for each member guess a number between 1 - 15 the closest being able to gain their Persona's first, and us descending from there. The only people who will not be participating are me (as my character will gain their's last) and Hina who will not be facing her Shadow. Now speaking of Hina's character I would like to introduce our first minor character, our resident of the velvet room: [spoiler='Victor'] Name: Victor Arcana: ??? Persona: ??? Info: The youngest among Margret, Elizabeth, and Theo he was sent down to the Labyrinth to make his first contract and find his first client. From the moment he laid eyes upon Raiko he sensed the power within her, and has decided to make her his client. A young man confident of his power (though that confidence in not entirely misplaced) he is very condescending and thinks he knows it all. Despite demanding respect and refusing to be treated like a child, Victor acts quite often on child-ish impulses. Trivia: Like many of the other residents of the Velvet Room his name is drawn from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein based on the well known Doctor[/spoiler] Also I apologize for not being on all day until now, but I had an event in school today and had to help out. Oh, what did you think of the application, by the way, Elly? I really did enjoy your app, I could honestly tell the amount of effort put in, and while the app as a whole was great I can honestly say my favorite part was the other info section, as all the symbolism behind your Persona just really showed me how deeply you had thought about this. Needless to say I was very impressed, especially as I think you capture a character and Persona of the Fool absolutely perfect. Even reading through your app I can already tell that your character will have as much effect on the other characters as they will on you, and for a Persona RP that is perfect. I'm gonna pick 7. What about ties though? WHich one would you pick? (Also, I think I'll flesh Arisu's personality a bit more. She's kinda too bland and stereotypical as of now imo.) In that case, I'll pick 15 for my choice of number and hope it's not actually the correct one. With the way I made Leviathan, I don't exactly deem it fair that he be an early-game Persona.
