Night
Atheist bigots are as bad as religious bigots. It's honestly a shame that people are far too ignorant to realize that. They're so adamant in disproving claims of there being a God yet they fail to realize that they have as little argumentative basis to go off of as the religious fucks. As for the topic at hand; I'm going to give my very brief argument, but you can disregard this entirely if you'd like because I do have immense bias when it comes to Fox seeing as though my mother's worked for the news corporation for about 15+ years, I'm well acquainted with a good majority of the prominent anchors, and I've briefly interned in the graphic design department a while back. Firstly, don't blame the entire corporation for this one random fuck. He isn't even a Fox employee, most likely just a random that they brought on to fill in a time slot. As for the subject matter, I've always found the argument of "Well I've been playing FPS games for my entire life, why haven't I killed anyone yet" to be absolutely fucking moronic. Some people are more easily influenced than others, that's a simple fact. I'm definitely not saying violent videogames are the cause of violence but instead that perhaps there is a possibility that in combination with a troubled person it can enhance violent tendencies. How much it actually factors in is dependent on a plethora of differing variables but to sit there and say indefinitely that violent videogames have absolutely zero correlation with violent tendencies is just as ignorant as the shit that buffoon is spouting. EPTinYugi
This is 1 of the reasons why I like to read online news articles than the news channels. If the person presented the news with some flaws, I'll have random people from the internet call out the author's bulls***. Though from what I saw on Yahoo, I will try to avoid reading some sources comments. The only news shows I watch are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I mostly go there for laughs and take the news with a grain of salt. Even when Jon takes most of the time making fun of Ultra Conservatives, he at least calls out the Democratic party and some liberals when they say s***. I don't watch Fox News or MSNBC because of their extreme bias towards their party. If the party I tend to favor, the democrats, say something stupid, I'll analyze and call them out on it, the same I'll do for the Republicans. Both sides have their equal share of stupidity. Off-topic: From going over reading those Yahoo comments on race in America, It has inspired a rant from me. Dear Yahoo commenters and maybe the internet in general, From reading your whines and inconsistent logic and knowledge, I figured out what's wrong when it comes to race and racism in this country: Much of y'all are either playing the victim, underestimate, overestimate, generalizing, or justifying when it comes to race and racism in the US. I proclaim that all of you get f*****, or whatever else you do to calm your tata's down. You are showing a fine example why there's so much divide in the US when it comes to race, you all are either play the victim, underestimate, overestimate, generalizing, or justify the racism here. I don't care whether you're black or white, even 1 comment said if it wasn't for blacks and whites, racism here would be not that bad by half Japanese man, while I as a Black man should be offended, I found it has some truth; when it comes down to arguments of race, much of the time it is about Blacks and whites, what about Hispanics, Asians, or Natives? Don't they use the race card also? Instead of going over and saying, "woe is me, the Black/White/Asian/etc. man, for I cannot do and say things because I was born this way. The country is against me and I must defend my race by blaming [insert other race(s).] This is not my and my race's fault and here are examples of things done to my race that totally negates the horrible things done to other races." How about instead: "By realizing that things happen differently in other places in this country than where I live, I conclude to say racism happens here in this country and depends on the location on who's facing it instead of applying on what happens at my local area to the whole country. I will read and rationalize on what this poster says about what happened to him/her or someone else and act accordingly in an appropriate manner." Was that so hard? Whatever you heard, seen, or faced on race that happened in some places you heard or have been in, does not apply everywhere! Stop pointing fingers at everyone else and realize that situations happen differently in different places. Who also thought manipulating or pulling statistics out of your butt proves you in anyway just because you're going by stereotypes; give some real numbers when you're talking about some race doing something. Luckily I'm not too mad because I made a new genius plot on how to combine plot elements of Power Rangers and Ben 10, into a single storyline along with how to make Tommy every Power Ranger color in a different story, at least the ones he missed. This rant made me feel better.
