Phantom Roxas
Farguild the Lightning SoldierLightLevel 93600/3200Warrior/Fusion/Effect"Gearfried the Swordmaster" + "Gilford the Lightning"This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn, you can select and destroy 1 face-up monster on the field. During your Draw Phase, instead of drawing, you can select one Equip Spell Card in your deck and add it to your hand. Once per turn, you can send 2 Equip Cards equipped to this card to the graveyard to destroy all monsters your opponent controls. (I'll give the first person to figure a certain small reference the Gearfried the Iron Knight in this card 1 rep and another rep to anyone who can find me a good enough pic for this card.) Phantom Roxas
Okay, NOW it's perfect. Link to comment
bury the year
The reference to Iron Knight is the Equip Spell adding part... 7/10, good effort. Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
That's more like a reference to Freed. Sorry, but that's not the answer. Link to comment
bury the year
Oh... It's the destroying part... Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
Heheh, wrong. It's not the effect at all. The reference is to the Iron Knight, the effect is from Gearfried and Gilford. Link to comment
Umbra
The ATK/DEF is double that of Gearfried the Iron Knight. I'm straight up to guessing at this point. Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
That's the reference. Good job! Link to comment
Umbra
Jay me! Alright, back to topic. You forgot to add a Level to the card. Other than that, it's balanced. The first effect is underpowered on it's own (Lightning Golem can do the same thing, and that's a fusion of 2 Level 4's.) The second effect weighs it up. Rating: 8 / 10. Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
Okay, I added a level. Link to comment
Yusei Fudou
Good card. ^^ OCG is good, good reference noticing and it's all not bad. I'd suggest you add "This card is also treated as a Thunder-Type monster", but then again it's your choice. 8.5/10 Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
I'm not so sure about making it a Thunder-type. Link to comment
Yusei Fudou
^Me too about that suggestion, I told ya, it's your choice. Link to comment
Skyson
It looks good, but still seems kind of underpowered. It's a fusion of two devastatingly powerful monsters that both boast good effects. This seems horrible when you consider what you're giving up. I could see a nice third effect for this that could make it game-breaking. As game-breaking as a card that fuses two 2800 (I believe Gearfried the Swordmaster has 2800?) ATK monsters: Tribute 2 Equip Cards equipped to this card to destroy all monsters your opponent controls. Being able to Raigeki your opponent once every two turns (at the cost of two draw phases) seems overpowered, but balanced when it costs you the ability to draw anything else. That's just my opinion, since I like the card's base idea. I always felt Gilford and Gearfried were buddies in a war or something. <_< Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
Hmm, interesting. I'll add that. NOW it's perfect! Link to comment
Wyhe
let me see...I would give this bad boy a 7.86/10 Link to comment
Dark_Pride
This card is good. No problem with the OCG and brokeness (did I spelled it right?). This card could be useful in decks that utilize Equip Spells. Link to comment
Phantom Roxas
Thanks, my main concern was it's possible brokeness(It's not even a word, so it doesn't matter). Link to comment
