Tentacruel
Anyone like cooking? I've recently started to get more into it. My expertise is fairly limited, but I've found a lot of simple sandwiches can be improved by pan-frying them. Also, bacon. Just bacon in general. Kazooie
I want to cook, but I don't really have the ingredients to do it, and I have no control over the shopping... Once I'm with Black, he's already agreed to help me learn to cook, so looking forward to it a lot. ><

goddamnit names are a pain
I count baking and cooking as too different things in my mind but I guess they are pretty much the same thing. I really want to learn how to bake. I want to be able to cook noodles (like stir fry ramen kind or things like that...hell I just really like noodles), potatoes, and chickens and that's all I'll need/want. xD But yeah baking is more up my alley, I'd think. Agreed. I actually don't like baking as it doesn't allow the level of freedom cooking does. As for noodles, one of things I want to cook most is ramen. If you want to actually make the noodles there are some ingredients that are hard to come by. :(

vla1ne
I enjoy cooking, but recently I haven't had much time to spare for it since nobodies ever home and I personally don't eat much in one sitting.
Shradow
I can cook as far as following instructions on boxes and using the Microwave, I can't do anything fancy. It's fun, though.
Kazooie
I hear you. I still live at home so I'm also limited in that respect. It really sucks. Cooking is one of the things I really want to get into >< oh god the romance is killing me Black you lucky bastard wat He puts up with a lot of shit with me, he really isn't the lucky one. x-x That just sounded so sweet Also I really respect Black for knowing how to cook. Tentacruel
If anything I'd say there's a shortage of female chefs. I mean sure you have the soccer mom casserole stereotype but that's pretty basic.
goddamnit names are a pain
No I mean you see a lot of stereotypes against male chefs I mean other than the professionals. At least I used to. Maybe it's stopped happening so much as of late. I'm uninformed about recent changes in public opinion *shot* Typically in the relationship I used to hear that the woman was expected to cook if anyone did and that it was weird for the male to. At least that's how I took it based on other people.
Just Crouton
Ain't got the patience. When I'm hungry, I'm hungry, so I just throw half a tub of cream cheese on three bagels and hit my calories. But, since TC mentioned bacon, I just found this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsI3BXWDi24 Look at all that protein...
goddamnit names are a pain
That thumbnail made me nauseous. I must really not like bacon. Or eggs. Just thinking about eating that makes me gag Why do I not like bacon that much ;-;

Shradow
That thing with the bacon looks delicious. Bacon is delicious. Mmmm, bacon... And yeah, I agree with Tenta regarding female chefs. There's always the "women in the kitchen" jokes and stereotypes, but I grew up hearing most pro chefs are male, though I don't know how that is today. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I can cook things on the stove, though most of the time, it ends up being either yakisoba (fried noodles) or fried rice. I tend to add kimchee powder to mine b/c I like spicy stuff. I don't live in the college dorms [I live at home], but it is helpful in making my own food so I don't have to spend $5-6 for lunch at university. (Mind you, the amount they give and the quality is pretty disappointing at times)
Goose
I still live at home by my mum loves it when I'm willing to cook. Haven't made anything too exciting yet. The coolest thing I did was General Tso's Chicken in a slow cooker which ended up tasting pretty okay.

Zauls
I'm off to Uni in September so I need to learn how to cook at some point. I can do pasta or rice in sauce. I can also fry things, but I can't live on bacon and egg for 4 years...
Lt. Colonel Remo
I can cook great toast. I even work with different condiments! I'm still a beginner at proper butter-spreading. Rodrigo
I can cook instant noodles. If I could live off of only that, by all means I would.
