SANDAA BORUTO
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Level 1 Normal Monster you control that has been face-up on the field for 10 or more turns, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's Special Summon cannot be negated. When Special Summoned, cards or effects cannot be activated. If this card battles a monster, it gains ATK and DEF equal to the ATK of that monster +1000 during the Damage Step only, also negate the effect(s) of the monster it is battling during this Damage Step only. This card is unaffected by other card effects. Just watched the whole 5Ds vs Taiyou once again, and I ask you: If this card got printed as a copy-paste of its TF6 effect, would anyone make a Deck dedicated to summoning this bastard? Discuss! Rodrigo
I would try, because Team Taiyou is my favorite thing from 5D's.

Toffee.
would anyone make a Deck dedicated to summoning this bastard?Aside from the fact it hitting the field is basically an auto-win, here's the issue...>Level 1 Normal monsterK. Right away we are jumping through hoops.>Has been face up on the fieldK. No problem. We got Fiendish Chain n' junk>For 10 turnsWell turn 2 hardly exists, and turn 3 is just a myth, so what is this 10 you speak of?

But, with Holding Hands Majin, Two-Pronged Attack, Trap Hole, Tribute to the Doomed and Magic Jammer, you can easily control the game and stall it enough to reach the 10th turn! Airride
Is it 10 total turns or 10 of yours? If ti's 10 of yours, Final Countdown is leagues better, since it guarantees a win outright, instead of ALMOST being one.
The Warden
By the looks of the wording it looks like it includes both turns.
Suibon
Well turn 2 hardly exists, and turn 3 is just a myth, so what is this 10 you speak of? Well, according to my most well-informed sources, 'ten' is apparently something you can eat. So apparently the card text is a paean to hunger pangs or something. Sleepy
Oh Thank God. I thought this trash was in Dragons of Legend for a minute. =( OT: It has a huge boost compared to the anime's "20 turns" and only "no targets". I think it'd still take too much effort and be unreliable for serious use, but if you DO find a consistent method, it'll probably fall into stall.... Not sure how to feel about that. This is essentially a god card so I'd get one even if just for collector purposes.
goddamnit names are a pain
I'm just laughing at the though of watching an anime duel go on for 20+ turns with Yusei just sitting there all pissy that he can't do squat. I really should watch the Sub of 5Ds.
Neochu-H
being unaffected is good having summoning conditions that make you quit the game is bad

I really should watch the Sub of 5Ds. That's almost accurate to the actual Duel. Except it was a WRGP Duel, so it involved Jack and Crow being perplexed. Yusei got to go after this was Summoned already.
Bringerofcake
Why does everyone forget Skrum Force? Wasn't that basically the biggest part of the Taiyou strategy? I'm just laughing at the though of watching an anime duel go on for 20+ turns with Yusei just sitting there all pissy that he can't do squat. I really should watch the Sub of 5Ds. Meanwhile I'm laughing at the thought of someone getting really pissy because someone wins with Zushin at a tourney in Game 1, then sides into Chain Burn for game 2. Aerion Brightflame
I mean technically you could make a Duston build around this because you can kinda lock the opponent out of the game for long enough to get this out. But it's entirely flashly and would serve no real purpose that you couldn't already achieve.

OT: Its a very neat card, but would definitely need some supporting cards printed with it. Otherwise it becomes, essentially, a slow Sophia. werewolfjedi
ZUSHIN SMASH TINY DUELIST this card is a wonderful wonderful trolly win condition. and it's ten total, so it's not an impossible victory condition, just an exceedingly tough one. because you need to protect that one guy from leaving the field by any spell or trap, AND being beaten in battle. dustions definitely could buy the time needed, as could all the normal monster support cards, could pyroclock allow a turn count to progress for this guy, or is that only a final countdown thing?
evilfusion
Pyroclock would probably work...but Pyroclock is one of the weirdest cards in the game, in that it affects almost nothing, because most cards count Phases, rather than Turns. It affects Final Countdown, Swords of Revealing Light, and I believe the Virus cards.

No. Pyroclock of Destiny does absolutely nothing other than increase the turn count. It's the same turn, just one Turn count higher.
