(GigaDrillBreaker)
Finally, something I want to freecast with Oracle of Bones. I admit, I really like Sorin's ultimate as a sorcery. This shall forever be called Sorincery

Trebuchet MS
Nowadays, nobody takes chances with Oracle of Bones and pays tribute every time. On the other hand, this means that they'll be letting you have 5/3 haste for 4 mana every time, and you can use this paranoia to your advantage by bluffing the chances of something scary. OT: Our Worst Fears is Jeleva's greatest dream. After a Deck full of spells that say "That thing? It's mine now." we get something that goes "Your turn? That's mine too." inb4 Wild Ricochet. Flame Dragon
See, this is the kind of mythic I don't like. A really cool effect that you never want to have be good, because when it is its broken. Mindslaver is cool because it can be abused easily while Sorin has outside uses, especially in EDH. This is just.............dull. I mean, you can copy it, but that is going to take a million mana and even in EDH you don't get that much.
.Rai
It's only overpriced by about 1 mana, which is decent in the scheme of things. It's just that Mindslaver's particularly strong for this effect, and unnecessarily abusable too.

Rodrigo
I like the card name though. Really resonant and impactful while still being simple.
NeoRWBY65
There is still a topic for this on the first page...
Flame Dragon
That there is. The section moves so slowly I figured if there was it would be at the top. Also, just scanning for the MTG tag seems to be giving more misses than it use to. I'm fine with people not using it, but need time to adjust. Merging the threads. Trebuchet MS
...and even in EDH you don't get that much. I've seen EDH games go long enough for me to hardcast Phthisis and then some. How fast are your games?
Rodrigo
In my local playgroup, having 10 mana on turn 5 is a common occurence.
Flame Dragon
I've seen EDH games go long enough for me to hardcast Phthisis and then some. How fast are your games? 7 mana is easy. This is 8 and needs 2-4 mana on average to get ways to copy this. 10 mana is a lot of mana and I can do much more degenerate things than take control of 2 players for a turn. Not to mentin for the same price I can also just take 2 extra turns myself. The games normally max out at around an hour, but I'd say we normally only get to like 10 lands. In my local playgroup, having 10 mana on turn 5 is a common occurence. That is not what my group is like. Though I'm going to assume that had to involve some amount of green mana. This is best in U/B/R which as ton of fast mana, but little ramp in the colors themselves.
Rodrigo
Ah yes, Green and/or Blue are in at least 80% of the Commander decks in my city.
