(GigaDrillBreaker)
Why can't the nautilus be an illusion? Then it would have modern applications.
NeoRWBY65
Why can't the nautilus be an illusion? Then it would have modern applications. Probably wouldn't fit on the line, "Enchantment Creature-Nautilus Illusion"
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Forget about the nautilus part. It isn't relevant.
NeoRWBY65
So, in Theros, we had bestow creatures that gave us various nice abilities In Born of the Gods, some of the bestow creatures were just vanilla boosts. Now in Journey into Nyx, we have bestow creatures with drawbacks? ...

NeoRWBY65
The red one looks like it might actually be good. Yeah, it makes you do what you probably are already doing. Which is the worse (including Gnarled Scarhide)?
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Nautilus. Gnarled Scarhide is the best, IMHO

(GigaDrillBreaker)
What about when you use Nautilus on your opponent's creature? Then you are paying 5 mana so that you can use even more mana to remove the creature. I suppose you are then left with a 4/4 but you can't put any auras on it or use any pump spells. Rodrigo
The Nautilus is the strongest of the bunch. Slap cheaper Auras on your Akroan Skyguard early, then the top of the curve is this. I wanna draft UW heroic even more than I usually do now :

(GigaDrillBreaker)
Question: If Crystalline Nautilus is being treated as an Aura and it gets targeted, do you still sacrifice it? Yes. And in draft, the nautilus is godly (hue). I just don't think it is useful for constructed formats. Hound can be played off of an emissary, which instantly makes it goodish, whereas Scarhide has applications in Mono-black aggro.
NeoRWBY65
The smart thing with the nautilus is to give your creature hexproof before you bestow the nautilus onto it, so that your opponent's cards won't target it and force it to be sacrificed. But they can still target the Nautilus and have it be sacrificed. Still, this is a game-ending card. You'd only use it when you're desperate or when you're sure you can deal 10+ damage at once.
