Frunk
Hi everyone,I've recently discovered that Mystical Space Typhoon isn't as useful as it looks, as, during one duel, I actived MST, well, at least my intention, to negate and destroy a card which has now escaped my memory. At the time, the fact that MST doesn't actually negate the effect of the card targeted was not known to me, and I have since been trying to find a card like MST, Quick-play (or Counter, but they're confusing and annoying), that both negates and destroys a card, and, due to my limited Yu-Gi-Oh knowledge, I'm appealing to anyone here who knows of a card that does this. I don't care about any tributes and/or sacrifices that need to be made to activate the card's effect, just tell me what it is...Cheers and thanks, Frunk. TotalObelisk
Judgment of Anubis is good for that, as well as trap jammer. But I don't really think there are many quickplay spells that negate effects.. (I keep telling my freind that it doesn't negate effects, but he won't listen)
HORUS
you just realized that??? lol yeah that is the only downside to it. otherwise its really good.
Foenix
I took it out of my deck when I found out.Only good for continuous cards like Imperial Order.
Wicket
yeah, MST just destroys the card, it doesnt negate it, TO's right, JOA is really good, i have it, then there are the old favorites, Magic Jammer, Trap Jammer, and STOTB. Maybe old-school, but those are he only cards I can think of at the moment
darkguy00000
Against spells, Magic Drain is a great way to reap card advantage if you don't actually mind the effect going through. I think there's a new card coming out called "Bribe of the Demon Palace": Counter TrapNegate the effect of a Spell or Trap card and destroy it. Your opponent then draws 1 card. Now THAT is ownage. Of course, it'll either be limited or changed, and that's IF it comes out. (Damn Konami.)
Wicket
Yeah, Bribe Of The Demon Palace is going to be a promo in Tag Force 2, which is going to be comming out July 26th. Combine that card with Greed and you got yourself a tasty combo
Shaco
Even though it can't negate effects, it is still one of the BEST cards in the game. And it is at least one of the top 3 most used cards in the game. It has no backlash and it has a really useful effect.
Professor Cobra
It is basically for face-downs or continuous Spell and Trap cards.
Frunk
It will remain in my deck, and Magic Drain is already in there, I'll try and get my hands on a Seven Tools as I gave my copy to Ashes Right Hand (my friend 'irl', he's made about 80 posts here). I like the sound of that Bribe of the Demon Palace card, can you give me any more information about when and how it will be realeased?
