Toothless the Night Fury
Hmm... I really like both of them. Both cards' OCG are very well done, as well as their names and high-quality pictures. I also like the selection the both made, with Strong Sword Beast looking pretty darn sweet, and Cat Sith omgwtfsocute. xD It just brings it down to effects, which, not after much debating, I'd give it to Strong Sword Beast. The biggest problem for me was Cat Sith's ability to negate all targeting for battle. I know Traps like Fiendish Chain, Book of Moon, and an array of monster-destroying cards can stop such an effect, but for me, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I look at it. If the effect only worked if it still had Xyz monsters attached to it, or if the opponent cannot target Level 2 or lower cards for an attack, I'd feel a heck of a lot better. It's also worded kinda funny, for which I'd replace with... "Your opponent cannot declare an attack as long as this face-up card remains on the field..." Or "Your opponent cannot target Level 2 or lower monsters on the field as long as this face-up card remains on the field." The drawing effect is pretty sweet though, and although I may call for a slight tweak to be able to draw 3-6 extra cards, it doesn't strike me as bad as the attack negator. Strong Sword Beast I really like. It's an excellent supportive weapon especially if your opponent tries to go on the defensive and you have a high ATK level monster on the field. A lot of people underestimate the power of Piercing Battle Damage nowadays, but with the rise of Fire Fists and other low DEF monsters, it's a godsend to have. I might also have a couple tweaks for Strong Sword too though, perhaps only having the effect last until the End Phase to reel in its power, or force the card to expend 2 Xyz materials for the perm effect. Tl; dr: Congrats to both for making amazing cards, but winner for me is Strong Sword Beast.

RampageXWolf
Card A can be instantly Xyz by OS, but instead of Unicore + 64 board, this give you a draw (or 2 based on luck) and have attack protection for all other monsters. Card B is an ED Granmarg, plus turning 2 of your monsters into Gaia Dragon. both cards are good, but Card B is better in term of usability. since Card A has 64 that required less monsters and is better for the deck's concept. Vector Nightmare
Card A does too little even with Obedience Schooled; and when a card does too little with Obedience Schooled, it really does too little. At best it's a slow +1 that doesn't put any real pressure or presence on the field. Card B is fairly useful because of its MST-like effect and the ability to give piercing is interesting, if not altogether useful. It could do with a small buff, but even as things stand it's a considerably better card than A. Card B gets my vote.

~Shin~
A: Had it been a 2 mat you would be able to actually bring something out for it to protect, but as a 3 mat... And it easy to kill, too... However, the fact that it will mostly be a +, is a good thing. B: It's just a costly MST, really. But it is not bad. It can create a mind game, allowing you to bait players into wasting traps on dispensable materials. But, (despite the abundance of EARTH monsters) not that many decks can efficiently make it or find space for it. Still, as long as the possibility is there the opponent will consider it. Voting for B. lol, I guess I'm waaaay slow. I was eating lunch sooo....
