Lancer Frogs - April '14 Pre-PRIO

Current build. After crunching the numbers, 7 unplayables plus Tidal seems to be the sweetspot for the best ratio of bosses in opening draws. I run a total of 8 engine cards plus 2 Treeborn, so I open with the engine 84.53% of opening hands. 3 Dupe, 2 Ronin, 2 Treeborn, 2 Grizzly, 3 Fader and 2 Jackfrost give me a 94% chance of opening with either a good first turn Set or a fearless Pass.

Still working on the side; in the previous format I was using 2 Full House over Compulsory and the third Twister, but with Beelze gaining popularity I need an actual out other than Flip Flop/ECon.

Kind of torn on the Twister vs. Full House question, on the one hand Twister is better for the Mermail match-up which will likely be dominant, but it's not as good as Full House is against Fire Fists and rogues.

I'm considering Caius again, as much as I hate using it outside of Frognarchs since it takes away from the consistency of the Water engine, but it's too good an answer to Beelze, Dweller and floodgates.

Thoughts?

I'm really curious to how the Ghostrick Frost has been testing. I haven't played a ton this format, but it seems to be a really... Strange choice. If it hasn't tested well, I really would cut it for Caius since it really does answer a lot.

Jackfrost has been testing incredibly well, after Mega Mobius and Lancer it's the MVP of the deck. On its face it looks like it's just a Fader that blocks two attacks, but in actuality it's an advantage engine and meta call all in one. Against Bujins and Noble Knights it pretty much serves as a win condition because they can't do anything with their Yamato/Sacred Artorigus face-down. It also takes care of Dweller plays if they're careless and make it in M1, and stops Xyz plays by flipping down one of their potential mats.

I can then make Dullahan off Jackfrost and a Treeborn and either swing over anything that's <2400, or <3200 if I get a Gachi out, and then either leave Dullahan up or go into Downerd for a 2500 to 3100 beater. Dullahan then recycles the Jackfrost when it gets popped or detached from Downerd.
