Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A: Requires you to have conducted a Battle Phase (and weakens itself after each usage). Three usages drop it to 2000 and it kills itself when it hits 0. Granted though, this pretty much shuts down a couple of Decks that you use this against (given many are mono-Type). Card B: Blocks set cards from being activated during the turn you detach, places a Frost counter on your opponent's monsters that block them from changing Battle Positions and burns them for 500 damage if they go to the Graveyard. You can still activate Spells from your hand after sealing off set cards on the field, but it "freezes" your opponent's monsters if it dies and they take damage if any of them die/leave field. Which is the lesser evil of the two: Destroying all monsters with a certain Type or freezing the whole field and burning. I'll have to choose card A because a type-specific Dark Hole isn't as bad as the other one
-Noel-
I'm a bit annoying that both cards are 3-mat which is hard to use, but well let see, Card A is kinda weak, activating only at M2 weaken it a lot, but guess that's some way to balance it. ATK lose didn't really needed here. Card B even better than Cold Wave, I mean the latter also stop you from using any Spell/Trap that turn, but this one not, so it's basically a win button that unchainable unlike Trap Stun. this is a battle of usability and balance, and many times this happen, ppl usually choose Balance, so Card A got my vote
Vector Nightmare
Eh. Card B isn't as borked as it looks. You can still respond to the summon and 3x5 is very gimmicky. I think it probably would've been fine without the second effect slapped on though. Card A is... ok I guess design-wise, but underwhelming. Even without the restrictions noone would really want to waste 3 LV4s on that, even in mono-Type match-ups. I vote for Card B, much more usable, even if it leans a little towards the powerful side. RampageXWolf
I hate those banned cards, and that probably cause me to dislike these cards. For Dark Hole on leg, the Main Phase 2 restriction is the only reason that make it not so broken, the ATK lose is really small, probably too small. But for Cold Wave-like, just what? stop set cards without prevent any cards in hand? that's really strong, way too strong, even a turn, but that turn usually be the final turn of the game. If only Card B also stop you from setting or activating a card from hand, it'll get my vote because Dark Hole on leg, when facing many decks, is too much, but in this case I'll vote Card A
