JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

The thing is that in addition to the 22 Arcanas, there are also the Egyptian god stands. Although I do expect them to skip Mannish Boy since he was really more of an annoyance bad guy and just showed off how much of a prick Kakyoin can be when angered. Maybe Oingo and Boingo will also be skipped.

Well, just as long as they don't skip Sun and D'arby, I'm a happy man.

They're not going to skip Death, because the scene was already confirmed in the PVs.

On the subject of D'Arby, I liked them.

Just randomly feel like posting my JoJo Reference playlist. In other words, a bunch of songs/albums/bands/musicians referenced in JoJo.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4O1CXd0GYDN4sTXvW7Yi7xTGrfUsS45k

119 songs. It's not even close to a complete list, but I felt like only picking notable characters for references instead of every single detail (like how even a hammer in Part 1 is a reference). It used to be in order by Part, but videos kept getting removed by YouTube and it is too much of a chore to order these things on YouTube.

See, the pace is already picking up. We met one Stand user and then another in the same episode. Though all of that censoring. lol.

EDIT: Oh, and I misremembered, apparently the scene I was thinking of wasn't the scene with Death. So he might not be in there. I still hope he is, personally. It's another very interesting Stand scenario.

I kinda felt like Mannish Boy didn't really do anything besides prove that Shizuka Joestar's stand wasn't a fluke.
Well, it has already been revealed that people can be born with Stands, but nobody really knows if they can "have Stands at birth" if you get what I mean. As in, they have the capacity for Stands, but not that they literally have it when born. In this case, it kind of proves the point that it's possible, and like you said, proves that Achtung Baby is not just random either (I had forgotten the baby's name. I always just called her invisible baby/Achtung Baby)  Though Sethan also proves this point with his stand when he transforms Polnareff into a kid and he can still use his Stand.

I mostly liked it as a villain just because they're unique, and it is a pretty humorous encounter for the most part. Gotta love a cocky baby.
I am mostly looking forward to his defeat. It's quite iconic imo.

I thought his defeat was pretty iconic too, I just felt like he didn't really do enough. Ideally, they would cover everything, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few minor villains were skipped like that barber who was possessed by Anubis, Oingo and Boingo (though that was hilarious), Devo (was that his name?), and Mannish Boy.

Also... Shadow Clones? Really? Of all the things to name it, why does it have to be something from Naruto?

I like to believe "Shadow Clone" is a very generic name, just to avoid the Naruto reference. :3

Geh, I can't avoid it. Memories of watching Naruto when it first came out are engraved in my brain, so any accidental references stand out like a sore thumb. >_<

Poor soul you have, Thar. I hope these wounds will be healed someday. *pat pat*

Luckily for me, I never watched Naruto :D

Also, Joseph is such a sassy grandfather, it's amazing.

As much as I love Joseph to death, I feel like he's stealing too much of the spotlight. I mean, Part 3 is supposed to be about Jotaro, and from what I've seen, all he's been is a quiet and easily-annoyed third wheel in the party.

I immediately thought of that too, especially since I also watched a lot of Naruto, but after a bit I just shrugged it off cause it doesn't honestly seem like all that much of a specific reference. At least, to me it doesn't.

And I'm fine with the Joseph thing. What I've seen of Jotaro so far just ends up annoying me a bit, so any spotlight taken from him is just dandy in my book, especially by that hilarious guy. He took up the first major-ish battle though, and he'll obviously be being more important at some point.

It was never really supposed to be 'about' Jotaro though, imo anyways. It may be a new part, and we may have a new JoJo, but ultimately Stardust Crusaders is about the entire group of the crusaders, rather than having any one main character, unlike Parts 1 and 2 where there's a clear main. Here Joseph's prevalent simply because he's the oldest and wisest(technically, at least) of the group, and thus the guy that exposites. Jotaro could've been developed better, that's for sure. Probably the weakest JoJo in terms of personality, maybe tied with Giorno but at least he has the 'I have a dream' schtick.

Well, it's not like Stardust Crusaders predates Naruto by like 2 decades or so.

And for Joseph...well, he's not really fighting much in Part 3, so I guess he needed the screentime to make him not looking like a tagalong mentor character. And his captain-obviousness is quite funny and amusing for me, so yeah.

That was an interesting fight between Avdol and Polnareff. Silver Chariot makes for a cool Stand as well with all the crazy stuff it can do.

The one thing I'm wondering is why would the killer of Polnareff's sister be in Egypt .-.

But it's cool to see that the whole ensemble's been gathered, now the plot can move further along.

I get the feeling the killer might be tied with Dio's shenanigans. Or it's just a plot device to get Polnareff to go with the Crusaders to Egypt.

Just seems a tad convenient for me, but it's a minor complaint regardless.

But going along with that, the hell was Kakyoin doing in Egypt in the first place? I forget if they mentioned a reason or not.

...they probably did, but I also forgot. :D

Traveling with family.

Just minor conveniences, Polnareff's was a complaint for me, too, but again, minor.
