True, tho Smash is also colorful.

But man, Star Cup looks like it's going to continue its run as my favorite cup in a mario kart game. Wii had far and away the coolest tracks in Maple Treeway and Koopa Cape. 3DS it wasn't as cool, but really none of the levels in that game were as memorable as the Wii levels, but Wario Shipyard is probably my favorite level on 3DS. This game has the airport, Mount Wario, and what I will only refer to as the THUNDERDOME.

Close second favorites look to be Flower and Leaf

Is the site working for anyone else?
I can't see any of the tracks beyond Mushroom Cup :/

It's working fine for me.

I never realized the sheer quality of N64 courses they were using this time around. Toad's Turnpike, Royal Raceway, Yoshi Valley...I love those courses. <3

Working fine for me.

Just to list everything for everyone (putting arrows next to new levels I think look cool af:

Mushroom Cup:
>Mario Kart Stadium
>Water Park
Sweet Sweet Canyon
Thwomp Ruins

Flower Cup:
>Mario Circuit
>Toad Harbor
Twisted Mansion
>Shy Guy Falls

Star Cup:
>Sunshine Airport
Dolphin Shoals
>Electrodome
>Mount Wario

Special Cup:
>Cloudtop Cruise
Bone Dry Dunes
> Bowser's Castle
>Rainbow Road

Shell Cup:
Moo Moo Meadows (Wii)
Mario Circuit (SNES?)
Cheep Cheep Beach (DS)
Toad's Turnpike (N64)

Banana Cup:
Dry Dry Desert (NGC)
Donut Plains 3 (SNES?)
Royal Raceway (N64)
DK Jungle (3DS)

Leaf Cup:
Wario Stadium (DS)
Sherbert Land (NGC)
Music Park (3DS)
Yoshi Valley (N64)

Lightning Cup:
Tick Tock Clock (DS)
Piranha Plant Slide (3DS)
Grumble Volcano (Wii)
Rainbow Road (N64)

Noticing a lot of N64 tracks making an appearance this time around.

Total returning:
N64: 4
3DS: 3
DS: 3
Wii: 2
NGC: 2
SNES: 2

I may be wrong on one of the SNES levels which may actually come from the gameboy. I don't remember the levels on either well enough to say, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, and it looks like they fixed Yoshi Valley so it's not absolute chaos.

Yeah, no they had me sold at the flying space train.

Hopefully one day, we'll get a Mario Kart game with twice as many tracks so they can represent these older games better.

Do we know if Yoshi's Valley is gonna keep the unknown place gimmick yet? I kinda hope so, that was always interesting.

They might, but they do have arrows and it looks like it's going to be a bit easier to navigate.

Nintendo keeps raping my wallet with things like this.

First this, then Smash, then Bayo 2, then Monolith Soft X, then Hyrule Warriors, then SMTxFE and then more.

Then they drop Metroid, Zelda, & F-Zero at E3.

I'm not getting my hopes that high, but they probably will announce Zelda.

I'm really just praying that it becomes E3 2010 again. Skyward Sword, Goldeneye (even though it was bad) Kid Icarus Uprising, Kirby Epic Yarn, DK Country Returns THAT s*** WAS INSANE.

It's so beautiful. Ah, I want a Wii U so badly now....

I love that there's more N64 courses. :D

But I thought the Yoshi's Valley unknown place gimick was because the N64 couldn't tell what place the racers were in because of the different paths and such? I could be wrong but I remember hearing that somewhere.
